Summary: If you think this headset has bass, well it doesn't. It's like bose qc15, not much bass but good audio. The problem with these turtle beaches is whenever your using Netflix, it always lags and you miss important parts of your movie and sounds. Every 10 second, so annoying. Otherwise presets, mute, mic all function well and it doesn't lagg online like it does on Netflix, it's honestly rediculous.
Summary: I bought this product just recently and i have to say that its alright...before these i bought the PX3's(Turtle Beach) and honestly you cant really tell that there is much "surround sound" going on in the PX5's...The only thing you hear is all the sound clumped up togther. Now if there were a 5.1 or 7.1 preset that you could download it would be noticeable. The only reason i switched to the PX5's was because of the two-way blutooth*.
Summary: If you want excellent surround sound, stick to a home theatre setup! Good choice for playing at night when others are sleeping. You can never get a true surround sound feel/setup with headphones. These are good, just not as good, as you would think for the money. They can interfere with your 2.4 Ghz wireless network(causing static in your headset), and have poor battery life with Bluetooth enabled.
