Summary: I would not recommend getting this again should it come back in stock. I only had it 9 months and it broke.
Pros: Great sound quality Great mic quality
Cons: Incredibly cheap feeling Uncomfortable and heavy Long cords are nice, but this length was just in the way all the time even trying to keep neat Broke even though never dropped once The design is terrible and the material is the worst part. I knew after getting it that it was only a mater of time before one of the joints broke. I was very careful with it but still one day out of nowhere the connecting bar just snapped when picked up.
Summary: I have owned 5 pairs of px21's in the last 2 years. Every pair broke after a few months. The only reason I got 5 pairs was because I had the warranty. Even if you treat them like the a 1,000,000 piece of glass they will still break.
Summary: I got this set when they were $150, I wouldn't waste my money at the current price, not worth the frustration. I'm currently on my third set of these and all three have fallen apart.
Cons: Build quality is horrendous - I got sick of sending them back for a for yet another new pair. so I just epoxied both earcups on so I don't have to worry about them breaking. Make very sure you don't pull on the cords at ALL, very weak wire connections, they will disconnect inside the earcup or volume control.
Summary: Maybe all headsets that have a swivel part that connects to the earphone may have the same problem but oh well but don't say I didn't warn you. I gave it two eggs for quality and sound.
Pros: Lightweight, Snugged around your ears, sound quality is so-so.
Cons: Weak construction around the swivel part of the earphones (plastic where it should be made out of metal).....Easily breakable.....broke the right side by accidentally dropping on the floor....from my computer desk which is about two feet to the ground ......had to apply super glue but it still works......for the price of this quality I would look elsewhere otherwise stay away from this product.....not worth an ounce of super glue.....Plus im not too crazy about the vo...
Summary: I've tested this in various game types, including MMO's, FPS games, MOBA games, RPG games, and the sound is okay at best for all of them. Explosions sound decent enough, anything else causes the static hiss to destroy and immersion within the game. The static is pretty bad, I don't think I can stress that enough. High pitched noises will trigger the static terribly. I've also listened to music with it, and unless you like awful music (i.e.
Pros: - Good sounding bass. - Can be used on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. - Sensitive mic.
Cons: - Static hiss for higher pitched sounds. - Uncomfortable on small heads. - Uncomfortable on glasses. - Mic picks up everything, even you breathing. - Loads of cords. - Switches do not work on PC (Bass, game, and chat volumes) - No option to turn off hearing yourself talk. - Feels like there's only a tinny sounding subwoofer in each up. - Oddly angled cups dig into my jawline. - Made of thin plastic, easily breakable. - Thin wirey cord that leads to headset. - Switches...
Summary: In terms of comfortableness, the headset feels fine for the first few months, but those with average-to-wide ears will feel the poor quality in materials. Built with a thin inner-ear cushion, you will eventually feel the grading under this cushion with time, and it will make your ears red, at the edges which make contact with the surface.
Pros: With a very high quality sound for the price point, the PX21 provides everything you need to be a casual gamer with an edge over the competition. Compatibility with Xbox 360, PS3, and PC/Mac platforms can leave this headset among few with the option - The added speed in transition between platforms is very convenient.
Cons: As a salesman of this very product, I understand what it takes to make a good headset, and I can tell you that after having witnessed how this headset can break quite easily first hand, this is not a good value. Lacking in the construction department, this gaming headset has three points of movement - one point for extension, one for turning your headset at a near-90 degree angle, and one for pivoting the headset outward away from your ear. It is in the near-90 degree...
Summary: Find a brand thats actually worth of being a big name.
Pros: nice long cable, decent mic, and seperate volume control for voice and other audio.
Cons: both earphones fell off and I had to glue them on but now they don't rotate, they starting to put out a static hiss now that's always there, doesn't sound like a quality headset the audio just sounds okay to me. Seems cheaply built like it would easily brake, speakers bleed sound some I don't remember if they did it when I first had them but I haven't been rough with it.
Summary: Yes my other thought is. Dear gamers please save your money for the quality is worth the money but the durability won't let you enjoy it for too long. PS. Go get something else you might like, like umm , maybe a pair of sneakers or maybe $79.99 worth of Bathroom. Since your going to throw your money away it might as well be on something more useful.
Pros: Love the fact that you can use them on your PC, XBOX,PS3. Great sound, i love them when playing Black Ops. I have been buying these since COD MW2 when they were P21. Yes i said it, a few of these i have purchased.
Cons: This is my third pair, all three were purchased from a major gaming store. This is the last time i purchase this headset. The first one was that the clip on the on the controller just came off it didn't break it just came off big difference. Second - like six months later the right side of the headset stopped working. I decided to purchase another instead of doing the whole RMA was too aggravated to deal with it. I go and purchase the second headset works fine, 1- the...
Summary: I had one pair of these and within the first week they broke! I put them on my head and the left ear pad just broke off and dangled. SO i went back to Walmart to get a new pair, because I just wasnt sure if the pair i had was faulty. The headphones had great sound, I loved it for playing all my games. I got my secong pair and I went home and this time I bought the extra year warranty with Walmart as well as the one year that comes from turtlebeach.
