Great Value, Minor Comfort Issue
Summary: I searched for hours to find a nice average-priced headset for my PS3 and I eventually decided to buy this. More than 1 year later and I'm not disappointed in the decision I made to buy this. The sound is great and immersive and I always use this when I'm playing with my PS3. The only complaint I have is the comfort.
Summary: This is my first time having a headset because I got a ps3 (my own first gaming console to buy a headset ...lol). For a first timer, it is pretty awesome to have. It catches most of the sound, but if you want to actually hear like everything, I would consider getting expensive quality headsets. Also good with chats but sometimes my friends can't hear me.
I'm very glad I paid the extra $15 for this headset

Summary: I play video games quite often; not as much as I used to now that I've graduated college and have a kid on the way but I still squeeze in a 4 to 5 hours every week. I needed a headset so that I could talk with squad members in Destiny so I picked this up instead of a $15 earpiece that I was looking to get. I'm very glad I paid the extra $15 for this headset. Set up was easy and the game sounds awesome.

Summary: I really enjoy using these headsets especially when I'm chatting with my friends. At a good price, these headsets are great. They are durable and not made from cheap material. These headsets are actually from a good brand. Never bought any product from Turtle Beach but I'm impressed when I purchased these headsets.
Summary: So Far so good. In the beginning I couldn't get the USB to power up by plugging it into the PS3, so no chat, and it had an awful clicking and popping sound. Instructions should say to first and always plug into a computer. It wouldn't work until then. Not sure if it had to download the driver or something. All I know is it was crap until i plugged it in to my computer, then it worked. Works great now!
Summary: I bought this headset to replace an older one. The older headset I had would hurt my ears after a hour or so of use, however with this one there is little to no pain after a full session of gaming. Sound quality is good and it is comfy to wear. Only con I can think of is the microphone, it is a little bit on the sensitive side. It is so sensitive to the point where people can her your breathing, despite having the microphone piece inches away from your mouth/nose.
Summary: I thought they didn't work, but I didn't follow all of the directions completely. Comfortable, great sound, and one volume control for listening to chat and another for all other sound. If you play any kind of online co-op games you need a headset with a good microphone. These are perfect for the price. Ideally, you shouldn't have your console directly above your screen because the cord will block your view.
Summary: I probably would have rated these as decent if not for a couple problems. First things first, the wiring is a bit of a hassle to work with. They give you two options to connect to whatever sound system you're using, a USB, and RCA containing two wires for stereo audio. These aren't detachable and the wires are fairly long. The wires length are clearly for people who'll use this for console gaming and play on a couch where the system is far away from the player.
Summary: It's pretty good so far, overall. I only give it 4 stars because sometimes it hurts the top of my head after wearing it for awhile. The "cushion" on the top of the headset is actually kind of unnecessary for me and it actually pushes down on my head pretty hard. It's not just me either, as I bought 2, one for me one for wife. We both experience this discomfort once in awhile.
