Good when they work
29 October 2012
Summary: Ive had 3 pair of these and all 3 have stopped working after just a few months play. And im a light gammer. They work very well when they are working but they dont seem to have any lasting power. Cheaply made. I think when it comes to headsets, you pretty much get what you pay for.
Summary: PROS: -Great control of game and voice -Excellent sound -Long cord -Use for PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 -One year warranty CONS: -Cord coils too easily -Not durable: 1st set lasted 6 months and mic quit abruptly. 2nd set lasted 6 months and sound went out immediately in 1 ear -Warranty information buried deep in the Turtlebeach website. Exchange was not an easy process. 3-4 week to replace headset but new headset does not come with a warranty.
Summary: So ive owned these for about a year now, the sound quality that you get from these for the price you pay is worth it, i love the fucntions and options they give me on the volume panel, theyre light weight, but that is countered by the very cheaply done earpads in the headset, my ears are of normal size and my ears start hurting within 45 min of use, within 1hr 30 min i have a headache like no other, the mic, broke off from the left earpiece, I superglued it back into the...

Summary: This headset is not that great. I tried in the PS3 and the PCs I have, different sound test were run with different games, operating systems, etc. The bass fell very flat (the dynamic response is only 20hz - 20Mhz, it should be MUCH lower than this for bass!). There was a great deal of humming and hissing in the background both with the normal setup and with the SRS 7.1 module installed.
Summary: I bought this product in November of 2011 and I've had headache after headache with this headset. After two months of purchasing this headset the wiring screwed up and sound was coming out of one side of the headset only after I put the headset on to watch netflix on my ps3. Further research online concluded that the wiring headset is very poorly designed and you have to be extremely careful (which I am extremely careful with gaming headsets) with this headset or it will...
Summary: Ordered in June of 2011. Friends described the microphone as "studio quality" and the headset produced great game sound. Not long after ordering, however, the headset began to *crackle* if the headset volume was low. I reduced the crackling and hissing by turning the headset's sound UP and the system sound DOWN. Around January of 2012, the right ear broke off. The horizontal swivel is a joint of cheap plastic.
Summary: I've now owned two PX21's for my PS3. What I love about this headset is the clarity of sound, the ease of being able to MUTE an entire COD lobby, and adjust the game sound on the fly. I've never had a voice chat problem and other players do claim that my mic works nearly flawlessly. As for the design of the PX21s buyer beware. As others have noted, there is a weak point on the ear cup swivel that very easily can fracture.
Summary: I bought my first pair of px21's back in september of 2011. The headphones sound and microphone quality are very nice and the ear cups make it very comfortable on your head. you can set it up so that you can use the headset on a pc and an xbox/ps3 at the same time as well so i would have given this headset 5 stars besides for 1 issue. Just 2 months after buying my px21's the right headphone went out.
