Good when they work
29 October 2012
Summary: Ive had 3 pair of these and all 3 have stopped working after just a few months play. And im a light gammer. They work very well when they are working but they dont seem to have any lasting power. Cheaply made. I think when it comes to headsets, you pretty much get what you pay for.
Summary: PROS: -Great control of game and voice -Excellent sound -Long cord -Use for PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 -One year warranty CONS: -Cord coils too easily -Not durable: 1st set lasted 6 months and mic quit abruptly. 2nd set lasted 6 months and sound went out immediately in 1 ear -Warranty information buried deep in the Turtlebeach website. Exchange was not an easy process. 3-4 week to replace headset but new headset does not come with a warranty.
Summary: So ive owned these for about a year now, the sound quality that you get from these for the price you pay is worth it, i love the fucntions and options they give me on the volume panel, theyre light weight, but that is countered by the very cheaply done earpads in the headset, my ears are of normal size and my ears start hurting within 45 min of use, within 1hr 30 min i have a headache like no other, the mic, broke off from the left earpiece, I superglued it back into the...
Summary: I've now owned two PX21's for my PS3. What I love about this headset is the clarity of sound, the ease of being able to MUTE an entire COD lobby, and adjust the game sound on the fly. I've never had a voice chat problem and other players do claim that my mic works nearly flawlessly. As for the design of the PX21s buyer beware. As others have noted, there is a weak point on the ear cup swivel that very easily can fracture.
Summary: I'll give you my review of this product first, than my gaming background and finally my favorite PS3 and PC audio setup. Turtle Beach PX21 I like the rich features and simple setup of the px21. Just plug in the usb to the ps3/pc and plug the 3.5mm plug into the RCA adapter from the ps3. The bass, chat and game volume controller is very helpful. Some games you may want less bass or maybe you can't hear one of your friends.
Summary: Not worth the price in my opinion, the sound quality is okay, but the chat boost doesn't work as well as I wanted it to, if a game makes any sound while someone is talking to me on Skype they'll go ridiculously loud and it sounds like it's damaging the headset.
Summary: This is a good headset but it has a really bad flaw. After about 3 months of using it the wire that connect the headset to the control panel twisted so much that is broke and the headset became useless. Get PX3 instead. It's a little more but it's better.
Summary: Work well and everything... for some reason last morning turn up my PS3 and ONLY ONE OF THE HEADPHONE WAS WORKING.... 10 days after AMAZON CANT TAKE IT BACK. AWESOME! At least it was working well during it short life... now i trow it in the garbage and i really regret buying that at amazon... buy it directly from [...
Summary: I got tired of my bluetooth headset because it was making my head hurt so I wanted to buy wired headphones for my PS3. First of all, they're too pricey, I mean $90 (with taxes) for headphones? These are worth about $50 but no more. The sound quality is great but not really worth $90. The wires are horrible as the USB wire is REALLY long. Like honestly, who needs a wire THAT long (about 6 feet, I'm guessing)? There's also two wires so it looks messy around my PS3 now.
