Don't waste your money - Peice of rubbish.
28 October 2013
Summary: Fails in less than 2 months - Don't buy it. Bought this on the 12th August 2013 - and by the end of September 2013, it was not working. The sound would not come through the headphones correctly, low and turning on and off, obviously some kind of fault internally. I tried to return it but the return period for the item was only until the 14th of Sept 2013 - I can see why it is such a short return window - because the product can't last very well.
Summary: this product was good before out of no where theres no sound coming out of the headphones. i would have to play around with the cord at one point for the sound to come out like i was trying to get cable playing with a clothes hanger.
Summary: My P11's broke so I decided to give these a try. Overall, pretty good headset. Fit is pretty snug, the P11's felt a bit oversized in comparison. Sound is pretty good on these despite being stereo headsets. I wound up returning these simply due to the fact I found a pair of Black Ops 2 Tangos on sale. Two issues I had with these headsets is; 1. the hissing noise on these were irritating. If you use the "surround" sound on these then the hiss becomes greater.
Summary: I bought this for my husband as part of his Christmas gift. He loves it. He loves that it is easy to mute if he needs to for a minute or two. I love that I don't have to hear some of the annoying talk that goes on in the games. Other headsets you could hear it even if you didn't have the headphones on.
Summary: Pros: Nice quality Easily adjustable mic Mic comes across clearly Clip on the remote to attach to your clothes or something on your desk, making the wire less to worry about. Cons: Uncomfortable since day 1 when gaming for 1+ hour. Literally fell apart piece by piece (also happened to a friend with the exact same headphones)*** ***I'm not the type of gamer to throw my headphones around the room, either. I buy something, i take care of it.
Summary: I removed the product out of the sealed box and plugged it into the PS3 per the instructions. I watched Netflix for approximately 15 minutes and suddenly the right speaker went out. I attribute this failure to poor build quality and wire failure. While the headset sounded good, I have serious concerns as to whether this product would last beyond a single year. Oh Turtle Beach... how far you have fallen since your zenith in the 90's.
Summary: I have personally owned 5 of these headsets from Turtle Beach including the original model for the PS3 system. I wanted to like Turtle Beach headsets, and very specifically the PX21 because the price is great. Unfortunately there is little and less I can say about these headphones that is positive but I will start with that anyway. The price is great, lowest cost you can find for decent quality audio in a gaming headset, based on this alone the PX21 has no competition.
Summary: First off, I've had this headset for well over a year now. I've never had a single problem with it, and I'm extremely surprised that it's performed so well through the months. I've read too many reviews to count about this product having some defect(s). I treat all my products with great care, and this product has shone through such care. Of course, for roughly $80 you're not going to get a titanium pair of headphones that you can throw across the room.
Summary: I was absolutely happy with the headset when I first purchased it at an electronics chain store for around $80. Worked well for the first couple years, with moderate use, and then the noise started cutting out on the right and then left side. Having no excessive wear or abuse, the headphone side of the volume control box wiring was broken. They made the PS3 end of the wiring very sturdy and then used the flimsiest wires for the headset side.
