Summary: Box was open - there was a printed email about how to resync the headset. It was an email from Madcatz support to, I assume, the person who owned the headset. There was a handwritten note on the back of the paper saying "submit ticket from headset". So... headset was used even though we paid the "new" price. Mic did not work. We returned it.
Summary: Doesn't work if you have an Xbox 360 E series (the newest 360 line) due to the missing audio port and I was not willing to bypass 7.1 Dolby Surround since I paid a premium for it. If you also do not have the required optical port on your TV, you are S.O.L. I was never able to use this headset (although I spent hours trying to figure out how to connect it to my Xbox), but I did try it on and it was very uncomfortable. Just get the wired Turtle Beach headset.
Summary: While the earphones work well and have great sound quality, they broke within the warranty period and the company will not respond to inquiries for repair or replacement. Don't do business with them.
Summary: This headset claims it will work with ANY Xbox 360 out of the box but that is NOT true. The product does not ship with adapters to take into account that the newer Xbox 360e does not have an optical port like prior versions of XBox, and the adapters provided do not match up with the audio adapter on the Xbox 360e.
Summary: Okay, so I bought this product and at the 32 day mark, the left speaker blew out. I don't blare the sound; I'm not trying to blow out my ear drums. I actually need my ears for my job, so I make sure to never listen to anything too loud. One night, the headset was working great. I was extremely impressed with how full the sound was. After about 5 or so minutes, I forgot I was even wearing a headset.
