Summary: This review will be a comparison of three entry level gaming headsets for the Xbox 360. Turtle beach X12, Turtle beach XLA, and the Triton Trigger. My goal was to find the highest quality gaming headset for under $50 that provided chat and game sound. I purchased all three of these from Amazon at the same time to test them out. Here is the price at time of purchase.
Summary: This headset is awesome! I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday, it's pretty awesome to use on FPS especially Halo! HOWEVER.. Despite that this is a pretty awesome headset, be forewarned about the connector for the headset!..(the little box controls for the volumes) We loved the length of the headset, the downfall was that a month after use of the headset, the little box for the volume stopped working.
Summary: These are great for everything the only problem I see in them right now is that after a whole my main black wire became damaged or malfunctioned cause the wire is in perfect condition but if I move it the headset loses hearing from one side or another. If the seller could help me with that then it would be perfect, Other then that this headset is great you can actually can connect your speakers through your headphone port and have a completely different experience of a...
Summary: It basically does what it is supposed to do which is listen to the game and be able to communicate. However it is wires of hell and it takes time to figure out what goes where and they get all over the place. The sound is not as HD as it could be, but it gets the job done.
Summary: I bought these for my boyfriend because his broke (older version of these). He loves them, says the sound is clear and concise, people can hear him clearly. They're not too bulky and are comfortable. Great deal, have had them now for about 6 months. The only con (for housemates) is that they cancel noise so well and come in so crisp that he yells. A lot. (He doesn't know how loud he's talking because he can't hear himself) He doesn't know it, but yea, it's loud.
