Summary: I bought these headsets assuming I would be getting the latest version 1.5 based on the product description. I received the older version and I am sending these back. I will wait to buy this headsets until I can walk into Best Buy or Gamestop and get the latest version. Amazon needs to change the pictures to show you will be receiving the old model. Buyer Beware.

Summary: This headset is the "old" 2010 AX Pro (single power supply) model, it is not the new 2011 revision, that is shown in the main images on the left on Amazon's product page. I am awaiting information as to why it was miss-advertised, and if the new model that is depicted is available from Amazon. Will update the review with more information, as I get it.
Summary: Unfortunately my headset never worked after my first use. Between the time I fell asleep till the morning as I was excited to play my music in these headphones, they didn't work. Too many cords in my opinion, I later learned that Tritton has faulty equipment anyhow, so I was misguided by some of the websites claims. They definitely don't give a damn about customer service, as it took two weeks for someone to respond to my email about the headphones not working.
Summary: I took the time to hook everything up, and then I was ready to play some Battlefield. Much to my dismay, the band that holds the ear pieces together snapped as soon as I put the headset on for the first time. I'm astonished that a $160 headset would break that easily. I'm going to buy a Bose system instead now.
Summary: I don't know about you, but if I'm going to pay $169.99 for a set of 3D Gaming headphones I'm not going to be happy with a click/hum noise every time they have to reproduce sound. Come on Tritton you were kidding right? You want us to be okay with a device that makes obnoxious feedback noise every time it works? Or maybe you thought we wouldn't notice? What a market research testing FAIL.
Summary: I did a lot of homework before I decided to by the Tritton ax pro headset. They were the best pick because of the 5.1 true surround sound. Everything was great until 3 months in the in-line chat stopped working. When ever I would plug them into my controller they would make a horrible buzzing sound. In case anyone did not know: Tritton is a branch of madcatz so good luck! I decided that I was going to have to send them back since they did cost me $160.
Summary: Tritton does not honor their warranty and customer service is non-existent. I will admit that the headphones were great when working but did not last more than six months. I highly suggest staying away this from company.
Summary: This headset has given me problems from the first time I used it. The microphone seems to have a loose connection internally. I bought this at the beginning of the month and I tried to use it for a month and I gave up and decided to return it. I also didn't care for not being able to hear yourself speak at all so it is hard to guage how long you are speaking with team mates. I expect more out of a headset that goes for $150.
Summary: I should have sent it back to Amazon for a new one. Good luck if you RMA these. Mine was DOA out of the box. Sent it to Tritton and all I have heard is "we will ship it on Monday" for the last 3 weeks. The story changes today...they are out of stock and will not get any in until the second week of May. So, I ordered mine on 3/23, got it on 3/26 and will not have a working unit until probably the end of May.
Plastic build quality sucks! After sales sucks too!

Summary: I recently purchase the Tritton AX Pro from Tigerdirect via Amazon. The headset works great, sound is great too! However I am very dissapointed in an area. The build quality of the product. After using it for a week, signs of product deterioration is shown. The plastic part of the headset, specifically the headband where the head pad railing is applied. The 'rubberize' skin is beginning to peel!
