Summary: Great sound quality. Pretty comfortable. I haven't had any distortion yet even on high volume. Bass performance is fantastic and the surround sound imaging is damn near perfect. Summary: This is a retrospective review written 2 years after purchase. After 10 years of faithful service my Sony MDR7500's finally died. The only problem I had with them until that point was a wire had come loose in one earcup which was easily fixed by soldering it back to the contact.
