Dead after 3 months

Peggy H., Newegg
17 January 2013
  • Summary: I do NOT recommend you buy these headphones, you will be sorry.
  • Pros: they worked perfectly for the first 3 months.. very comfortable and construction seemed to be good.
  • Cons: Right side earphone stopped working after 3 months.... Do some online research there are tons of complaints about this issue. Thermaltakes webpage is a real pain to try and get a RMA.. .It sends you to about 4 different "registration" pages to enter the same info over and over.

I should have read the reviews first!

Brent S., Newegg

  • Summary: I'm not hard to please with products. At a retail price or $116 for a headset, I expect excellent craftsmanship.
  • Pros: Sounds Great! RMA response has been quick.
  • Cons: Like other users have mentioned, the wiring goes out with the first couple of months. Apparently, this is a common problem with this product.

  • Summary: Would not recommend this to anyone. While it works the sound is amazing but for the money it should last longer than a month of use.
  • Pros: Great sound quality and great mic quality
  • Cons: Wiring goes out after a month of use. Went through two sets and each one had the same problem of the sound coming out of the left ear. Now that the 90 day warranty is over I guess it's on to the next brand.

Lasted 2 monthes

Brian F., Newegg
8 November 2012
  • Pros: Sounded amazing and has a good microphone...when it worked.
  • Cons: The wiring came loose after only 2 months. I bought this $100 headset for the durability and quality. It failed me on the durability.

DO NOT BUY!

Andrew Z., Newegg
7 July 2012
  • Summary: Avoid this and ANY Thermaltake item if I were you. I REALLY expected more from a $100 headset.
  • Pros: Was ok when it worked.
  • Cons: Wiring came lose after 2 and a half months of owning it. Every time I move the wire the headset dies. There RMA system and overall customer support is TERRIBLE! I can't even email them because every time I do it sends me back a message saying failure to deliver and then a bunch of Chinese symbols...
