Summary: -I have not had one complaint about this headset. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I use to own a razer carcharias and no matter if the fan was on, tv, family talking, that mic would pick up every thing that was going on. Glad I switched to SteelSeries
Pros: -Comfortable -Everyone can hear me clearly no matter if the mic is retracted fully or extended to the max -Price -Simple on/off and volume control -Little to no background noise
Summary: I ordered these for video games on my computer, and I've had a number of different headsets in the past. I've typically stuck to cheaper models from various brands just because I was a broke college student. I went with these because they looked nice and had reasonably high reviews.
Summary: Look at basshunter's music video for DOTA He knows headphones.
Pros: Bought these back in nov 2013 Still top notch Still look like a swedish progamer I took them underway on 2 submarine deployments, packing and unpacking them from my rack with other steelseries components including a large MSI laptop. I was not able to be gentle. But all the steelseries stuff i ha...
Cons: Discomfort sets in after maybe 10 hours or so due to lack of ear ventilation.
Summary: For $70-80 you can get a high quality headset that will last you approximately four years. I greatly recommend this product.
Pros: Strong, accurate bass that doesn't overpower the music, decent mids, decent highs. Very comfortable over-ear headphones that can be worn for hours at a time. The mic is great and the in-line volume control/mute is handy.
Cons: I've had these headphones for four years now. After four years the padding on the earpieces has worn down and they are uncomfortable to wear. The inline volume/mute control is also showing signs of wear as it doesn't fully mute the mic. Also you can tell there is a loose connection as sometimes t...
Summary: While others complain of the headset not working or coming covered in earwax and dirt, mine came clean and practically new, only some scratches on the volume controller. The headphones work great and I can wear them for 6+ hours on end without discomfort. Highly recommended, great for the price.
Pros: -Sounds great. -Extremely comfortable. -Soft earcups, very plush as well. -Good clamping force, and an excellent headband system. -Looks good.
Summary: If you get a good refurb, then you will have a solid headset on your hands that will last.
Pros: -Very comfortable, able to wear for hours. -Sounds like a quality pair of headphones. -Voice quality is good for skype and teamspeak. -Retractable mic is way better than I thought it would be. -Extension cord is a nice bonus.
Cons: Nothing really. I guess the mute button could be a little easier to switch, but I've never had too much trouble with it.
