Summary: from the audio i heard from the left ear cup was very good, and the mic was also good, i would recommend getting a warranty if your going to get this headset, i did do a RMA on the headset and will do another review when i get the headset back.
Pros: the headsets are very comfortable, light weight when on your head, the headset exterior of the had no visible marks/damage.
Cons: right ear cup wasn't working as soon took it out of the box and plugged it in.
Cons: These things fail I purchased two for my boys for Christmas. Both failed within five months. The wires bringing the sound to the headset fail. No apparent stress. Both were purchased with extended warranty.
Summary: I can't use them, as my desktop is too far away and the cord (without the extension) doesn't reach.. BUT I did buy a chinese knock-off extension online for <10$.. gonna take a few weeks to arrive.
Pros: Comfortable Affordable Nice quality
Cons: The box did not have the 2m extension cord and warranty card. Customer support said they don't have any extension cables available, but they issued me a 20$ gift card for the hassle.
Summary: Mic has static in Skype calls, but not a big issue for teamspeak/mumble where you use voice activation. The mic sound goes through clear and the sound from the headphones are great. No static would have made it a 5/5 but what can you do for the price.
Summary: when my pair of turtle beaches died out, i wanted a quick replacement without splurging too much and these seemed like a good bet at the price (less than 35 bucks) so I gave them a go as I have not had too much trouble with refurbished items from newegg in the past.
Pros: Extremely comfortable and snug fit, the audio quality is good when it works, though if you are looking for strong Bass, these are not the headphones you want
Summary: exactly on day 365 both straps holding the head suspension strap snapped off kind of bummed but it still fits my head with out the suspension strap and now it's more comfortable to wear around my neck.
Pros: good quality sound comfortable to wear for long periods of time
Cons: bulky head strap always got in the way when travleing
Summary: Because of all the good things while wearing these its given me a standard for what I should look for when I get my next headset. Thanks SteelSeries.
Pros: It was a Comfortable fit even with a big head. It was Lightweight so I didn't have any pains wearing them even after several hours of gaming. I loved the MIC being retractable also so I could put it away when I would watch movies.
Cons: After a year and a half of owning them the MIC stopped working unless I retracted it almost all the way back into the headset but then it would be unusable because of massive fuzz. This caused me to have them replaced, but up until that time they worked great and if I didn't use the MIC every day...
Summary: Headsets or headphones with inline mic and/or volume controls can sometimes be a risky proposition given the extra chance of failure in the wire where it goes through the inline controls.
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight -The suspension headband makes these very comfortable and due to not having a solid headband it lowers the weight a good bit as well. Mic quality - Pretty good. I've had most of the more expensive headsets you can buy from all the big brands and the mic quality is probabl...
Cons: Build Quality - This comes from my personal experience with the headset and could differ in other experiences. I've had my headset for only about 9 months and I'm experiencing a fair bit of issues with it. The wire going into and coming out of the inline mic controls feels extremely loose which I...
Pros: -Very comfortable, lightweight compared to many gaming headsets -Audio quality is great for the price -Optional extension -Mic audio very clear -retractable Mic very useful for music listening purposes -Unpowered
Cons: -Can get a little warm in the cups -Leaks noise (not a lot, but enough) -Sound can be a little on the quiet side depending on the device -Not compatible with XB1/PS4
