Steelseries Siberia V2 Frost Blue/Diablo III Headset Review
31 October 2013
Summary: What you get when you buy these sets is precise positioning of the audio and accurate aural feedback. That's what a pro-gamer really needs and that's what these sets provide. Be sure to bear that in mind when you go headset hunting. For a gamer, these are possibly the best headsets that you can buy; an audiophile had better look elsewhere. These are quality headsets and if you can afford them, you won't regret purchasing them.
Pros: Excellent positioning, Well-built, USB sound card in-built
Cons: Distinct lack of bass, No 3.5mm jack, very expensive
Conclusion: SteelSeries' 7H and Siberia V2 are fantastic headsets that, unfortunately, you'd never want to use for your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Their high quality, price, and most importantly size make them an impractical, expensive choice for portable gaming. For Apple portable gaming, get some nice earbuds or a small, sensible headset. If you want the 7H or Siberia for home gaming, get the desktop-compatible models that SteelSeries already offers.
Conclusion: At $90, the SteelSeries Siberia V2 stands slightly cheaper than others in its category. And for me, they are worth every bit of the greens. The Siberia V2 delivers on all vital aspects for a headphone: looks, built quality, and performance. Quite simply put, if I was in the market looking for a serious pair of cans, the SteelSeries would definitely reach my final list of probable.
Conclusion: Overall, I really like this headset, and found it to be extremely comfortable and very easy to use, it’s not too shabby looking either with its white design. Sound quality was good, both from the 50mm drivers and the microphone and the cable was a decent length. So here’s another Steelseries product for them to be proud of. The price may seem quite high to some users, but this headset is worth the money.
