SteelSeries Siberia Neckband Headset
22 November 2007
Summary: The SteelSeries Siberia has a lot of good things going for it. The design is very different and fresh compared to what we are used to seeing and works flawlessly in some applications. Besides being shaped different the design of the cups and microphone helps to conceal that it’s a headset.
Pros: Good looking, Detachable in-line volume adjuster / cable extension, Xbox 360 Supported, Excellent microphone, Bass, Build quality, Durable
Conclusion: If the SteelSeries Siberia Neckband fit more comfortably on my head and if it’s noise cancellation was a little better, I’d have no problem giving this a very high score. In every other area (but price), it performs as good or better than most other headsets in its price range that I’ve reviewed. It also looks quite cool, something that few gaming headsets pull off.
Pros: Good sound quality, Beautiful, sleek design, Useful iOS features, Compatible with iOS, 360, PC
Cons: Doesn’t grip as tightly as it should, Priced a little high, Poor noise isolation
Excerpt: Over the past few months we have looked at quite a range of different products from SteelSeries, a few of which have been gaming headsets. They all scored well thanks to a combination of good performance and build quality leading to a number of awards being given out.
