Summary: I've worn the Steelseries Siberia V2 and it is by far better than this. I would rate this at about a 6.5 or 7 out of 10
Pros: -The detachable mic is convenient if you like to use speakers from time to time -Cord length -Feels light -Not easy to break - Really Clear sound - The mic picks up sound relatively easy
Cons: -The padding is not on the ear it is around it, so the hard plastics presses against your ears -Your ears can start to hurt after prolonged use -The long cord can be annoying at times -Sounds lacks bass
Summary: This headset product is quite flexible, allowing one to plug in via USB or analog jacks. The sound quality is good and the built quality is nice too. Unfortunately, it wasn't really what I had in mind when ordering a gaming headset.
Summary: So this is my second pair of the exact same set of headphones. The first pair, broke from dropping it a couple of times and the one I have currently I've had for a year now and it's already going bad.
Pros: Great sound, comfort, and working microphone! Unlike others, I have not had a problem using the mic. The sound is fantastic! A nice bass level with excellent surround sound capabilities. Can be used very nicely with gaming or advanced media.
Cons: As stated below, the speakers themselves have started giving out. I believe it's the volume control attached to the cord that is causing the issue. Microphone is holding up but there is no nice place to clip it. It would be nice to see the microphone attached physically to the headset itself.
Summary: its the steel series headset i admit, but its like they took out the mic part and replaced with plush fabric instead of foam in the earcups, its still a nice headset for 50 dollhairs, but i feel the description should at least be corrected
Summary: These were my first gaming headphones I invested a little money in. Inspired by 'BassHunter' (the techno music producer/gamer) i thought these would be a pretty nice addition to my rig. Theyre nice. they feel good. They sound pretty good. They have a long cable.. almost too long.
Summary: If you can be incredibly ginger with the mic and don't mind clipping it and unclipping it to your shirt every time you sit down or get up, go ahead and grab this, it's got great sound quality. Otherwise, don't touch this at all.
Pros: The sound quality of this thing is great. I happily used the soundcard in it too. It has been great for both music and chatting. It's rather comfortable on the head as well, and sits so that it doesn't mess up your hair, or make your ears sweat or anything like that.
Cons: The mic. It's an absolute piece of garbage. First of all, if you haven't noticed, it has to clip onto you rather than extending from the headset, meaning if you're not wearing a shirt, too bad. Second of all, it's fragile. After only 3 months of light use, the hinge that holds the clip together b...
