Worked for about a week, then the right ear gave out.

Summary: It is a comfy headset, the color feature is nice and the design is sweet, everything else is trash! 90% of the time, when you buy this product one of the sides is going to lose sound. Sure you can pop off the little circle piece on either side that says "steelseries" and pull or push the wire to get it to work again but eventually, like I found out last night, it'll stop helping.
Best SOUND I've ever heard "(WORST") mic I've ever delt with
28 June 2014
Summary: Every Thing ("OUTSIDE") was in top shape, box, packages, headset, were clean with no defects ("AT LEAST") on the headset its self. However, on the inside of the first headset I had terrible mic issues. It would make me sound like a robot, I could not stop it. The only option when it started acting up was to unplug and re plug it to the USB, that fix only lasted so long.
Summary: This headset looks awesome, it sounds awesome, and it feels awesome... until you put it on your head... Holding this thing in your hands makes you want to love it. It's so sturdy, so well built, but the fatal flaw for it (and it shouldn't be for everyone, I have a slightly larger head than most, but I think I have average ears) but is that it just hurts. I wore it for about an hour and my ears were killing me almost the entire time.
Summary: My girlfriend put an order in for this product on the Steelseries website on May 22nd, with the option of Rush Delivery for a whopping $22.99. The estimated delivery date was May 27th - 29th. Those days came and went with no sign of the product. Not even a shipping confirmation email. Needless to say, the entire purchase price and shipping fee was deducted immediately from her bank account.
Summary: I previously had Astro A40s. I switched to these and immediately had a problem. It wouldn't let me use the Dolby 7.1. Then after one of the ear cups shut out. When ever it moves in a certain way on my head it cuts out. Its extremely annoying so I just put the headset in the corner and I use my astros. Even while listening to music on my phone it does this.
Summary: I have owned this headset since it came out last year and I have been quite pleased with the performance ever since. I started off as a very novice gamer around a year and a half ago, with a 10 dollar mouse and Apple earbuds. My first headset I purchased was the Steelseries Siberia V2. They were a great starter headset, and the sound was perfect. However, I wanted something more flashy that would be the latest and greatest model.
Summary: Received the Siberia Elite and the left headphone would go out constantly. Contacted SteelSeries, got an RMA and eventually a new headset. Sent in support request on March 1, did not receive replacement until April 2. Not acceptable for a $200 consumer product. The headset itself is great. I'm not a huge audiophile, but it is sounds great and is comfortable. The SteelSeries Engine 3 software runs on my Win7 machine without any issues.
I love the sound and the misc option for this headset. Everything else was a complete mess.

Summary: I love the sound and the misc option for this headset. Everything else was a complete mess. I'm a big fan of the steel series headset product and when I herd about this one I immediately went to buy it. The issue is that it's nothing like their previous headset and I believe they want too ambitious with their design. While the pillow-like case seems like a dream come to, it ended up being uncomfortable due to an unbearable heat it brings to your ears.
