Pros: Very cool looking headset. The red was exactly what I was looking for in my set-up. The console is very cool to customize, and overall I am very pleased with my purchase.
Cons: While the headset looks very cool, it is slightly uncomfortable to wear after a few hours. I have bigger ears (lucky me) that seem to be irritated after prolonged use of the set. Also, the Steel Series console is pretty memory heavy in usage. On my PC is runs about 60~80k memory usage as a back-round utility!
Pros: It sounds good and works well when it is working. The appearance is also great and it appears to be a quality product.
Cons: The cord went bad after 2 months of relatively easy use. That can happen to any headset. My complaint is that the replacement process took almost 6 weeks. After they received my defective headset, it took them 4 weeks to ship a replacement. That is a unacceptable response time.
Summary: - This has been said MANY times when I read 20+ reviews to kill time until my headset arrived. THE CORD IS SHORT AS HELL, I use a laptop because I am saving up for a gaming PC and it is right infront of me. However it is still short. I have to use the extension cable, which isn't braided like the headset's but the wire is still sturdy, it just worries me a little because of the connection.
Pros: I am going to be honest and give all my impressions and opinions of this headset when I first put them on.
Pros: Very comfortable, great sound quality, nice microphone (while it worked).
Cons: I never touched the microphone, leaving it retracted all the time, as it picked up my voice perfectly well from that position. However, after about five months, it stopped working. I've never dropped or otherwise mishandled the headset, and am terribly confused as to how this could have happened. I'm just unlucky I suppose.
Pros: The sound quality is good/above average. The mic quality is also decent, from what people have heard from me. The features of this headset are very nice, the retractable feature of the mic is very handy! The wear of it is very comfortable, and the ear cups have a soft feel to them. It fits nicely on my head, which is nice because some headsets are way too big and others uncomfortably small. Oh yes, and the LEDs look quite nice. The chord on the actual headset is quite...
Cons: Really the only problem I've had with this headset was that I mishandled it, dropped it on the side of a stair, and now the plastic has a break in the side. Because of the comfortable design of the headset, I would say it isn't quite as durable to abuse as other headsets I've owned.
Pros: I'm not an audiophile, but these sound really good. With a few tweaks to the EQ, all my music and games sound great, especially D3. Also very comfortable and don't hurt my head when wearing them, even after hours of use.
Cons: I would have said the short cord (from the headset itself), but the included usb extension made up for that so not that much of a con.
Pros: Very comfortable (you forget you are wearing it), cool LEDs, nice design, innovative mic (I have had razer mics break off after a couple of weeks due to readjusting, but this mic is out of the way and durable), easy to use interface, and an overall nice sound quality
Cons: short cable (comes with expansion, but still), my friend with a big head barely fits in it,
