Summary: I had bought these for my hubby because his headset broke. Upon receiving said item and opening it, my heart sank. This headset is just entirely too small. It barely fit my head, let alone his! This should honestly be marketed for kids. Needless to say I had to return it.
Summary: So it worked for about a week, maybe a week and a half and the headphones were very comfortable and the sound was not too bad. However, I am giving this product 1 star because of the fact that it did break. After breaking I tried to get it replaced - a new one sent to me and send the old one back, sounds reasonable right? Apparently the manufacturer of this specific headset does not do that, nor does amazon.
Summary: I first bought a SteelSeries 5H V2 headset in mid 2011, and was initially quite happy with it. It had good audio, a very comfortable fit, and a well-designed retractable microphone. I was very satisfied using it for four months... and then the right earpiece stopped working. I was pretty upset at this durability issue, and had to retire the headset.
Summary: For $100, I would expect that the connection to the head phone plug would last longer than one month of use. After one month of moderate use, the wires near the plug shorted out leaving me with an expensive set of plastic ear muffs. I have had $5 head phones that have lasted longer than this. Very disappointed in the quality of construction of this product. Had pretty good sound quality while it lasted.
Right ear piece failed after 2 months of light use.

Summary: Like other reviewers, these failed on my after a few months with the right speaker cutting in and out. For the money you can get much better sound quality, I would not recommend these to anyone.
Summary: Like most headphones, these are made so the earpads nearly touch when the device is not being stretched, so it'll fit somebody with a 2 inch wide head. The amount of force required to stretch it to the width of a normal head is excessive and uncomfortable in my opinion. There is no adjustment for that. The only adjustment is to slide the pads up or down, which does nothing to the horizontal force that they apply.
