Summary: I thought I had already written a review of this headset, but when asked about them - realized I hadn't! I have run through at least three $40-$50 gaming headsets, prior to purchasing the SteelSeries. Almost always, one side would die, always annoying. These were recommended by a friend and I have to say - after FOUR years, they still work perfectly. I game several times a week, so they get a lot of heavy use.
Summary: It worked fine at first but then not even 15 days later the microphone stopped working on my laptop and ONLY my laptop and every other headset I owned with a mic worked still after this incident the mic works just not with windows 7 or just my computer and im not spending more money to get it fixed or to get a new one even under warranty its one thing after 15 days of use but seriously not even 15 days of use its a little over a month later and the problem still persists...

Summary: The actual headphones don't go around the ears and despite the "Gaming" title in the name, using these for long periods of time while gaming will hurt your ears for sure. Sound quality is great, and if you're using it for short bursts of Gaming then these may be a headset to consider.
Summary: I had bought these for my hubby because his headset broke. Upon receiving said item and opening it, my heart sank. This headset is just entirely too small. It barely fit my head, let alone his! This should honestly be marketed for kids. Needless to say I had to return it.
Summary: Great headset. Only issue is when using VOIP Programs like vent mumble or ts3 the output gives a beeping noise like a heart rate monitor. Making all other users listening a dis pleasant experience listening to me as I talk. Fixed it before by finding a old version of the USB sound card driver but I can't find it anymore. Rediculous.
