Summary: I broke my good behind the neck headset and bought these in a pinch. If your looking for something that is small and light , these are in that category. Personally I dont like the over the head / cover the ears type headset, I prefer the behind the neck type. They are fair priced and sound decent but they have a big drawback for me in that the cord is way too short. You have to sit too close to the PC or game console and you will be constantly tugging at the cord.
Summary: I initially had some trouble getting these to work on Teamspeak, but it was just a problem of my settings. While these would definitely be too small for men, they are perfect for my woman-sized head. My head is wider than most women, but also shorter, so they end up fitting as over-the-ear headphones for me. For women with narrower heads it should fit fine as well. Very good headset for the price (I bought mine at Walmart, however.
Steelseries keeps getting it done. One headset and a time. 3Hv2 does not disappoint.

Summary: Great upgrade over the original 3H. This sucker is much more durable than the regular 3H model and also has much more comfortable leather ear cuffs when the original 3H had a feaux-leather thin plastic sort of material that usually ended up just peeling off. This headset is definitely the best budget headset in my opinion and I would say if that's what you're looking for, then you just found it.

Summary: I thought I had already written a review of this headset, but when asked about them - realized I hadn't! I have run through at least three $40-$50 gaming headsets, prior to purchasing the SteelSeries. Almost always, one side would die, always annoying. These were recommended by a friend and I have to say - after FOUR years, they still work perfectly. I game several times a week, so they get a lot of heavy use.
Summary: It worked fine at first but then not even 15 days later the microphone stopped working on my laptop and ONLY my laptop and every other headset I owned with a mic worked still after this incident the mic works just not with windows 7 or just my computer and im not spending more money to get it fixed or to get a new one even under warranty its one thing after 15 days of use but seriously not even 15 days of use its a little over a month later and the problem still persists...

Summary: The actual headphones don't go around the ears and despite the "Gaming" title in the name, using these for long periods of time while gaming will hurt your ears for sure. Sound quality is great, and if you're using it for short bursts of Gaming then these may be a headset to consider.
