SteelSeries 5Hv2 Headset

29 September 2007
  • Summary: Like other headsets from SteelSeries, the 5Hv2 features a retractable microphone.  In my experience, this has proven to be very handy as you can store it internally when packing it around, or even when listening to music.  When you need to chat up your buddy, you can pull it out then.  This also helps alleviate the "geek" factor when you're just enjoying tunes on your computer.
  • Pros: Comfortable., Very good sound quality., Sturdy, durable design., In-Line Controls.
  • Cons: Microphone level switch causes momentary loud interference.

SteelSeries SteelSound 5H v2

27 November 2006
  • Summary: This headset performs really well in games where you need to hear small details such as footsteps. The only area where the SteelSound 5H v2 disappoints is when listening to music. If you just want to play CS and other FPS shooters this headset is a good buy, because it's relatively cheap and provides great comfort.
  • Pros: Comfort, Durability, Bang for the $, Gaming performance, Design (Can be split for safe transportation)
  • Cons: General audio performance

SteelSeries 5H v2 Gaming Headset Review

Tech Reviews
26 August 2009
  • Conclusion: Overall I’m very impressed with the SteelSeries 5H v2 Headset. It proves itself to fulfil the purpose of a ‘gaming headset’ with its very clear microphone, top-class comfort and reasonable sound quality. With its sheer comfort, you could quite easily game with this headset for excessive periods of time without fiddling about or removing the 5H v2 altogether.

Endlich einheitliche Soundqualität?

15 June 2014
  • Pros: gute Klangkulisse, hohe Kompatibilität, intelligentes Mikrofon, transportabel, ergonomisch
  • Cons: hoher Preis, tückische Verarbeitung, minimalistischer Auftritt, zu dezentes Design, keine Tragetasche

Review Auriculares SteelSeries 5H V2

31 May 2013
