Summary: When I originally made the purchase, I was a little more than worried. 15 dollars for a gaming headset WITH a mic? I was pretty sure I would be returning this item. But after hooking it up to my pc, recording my voice a few times, and doing some gaming, I couldn't be more satisfied. The speakers do lack quite a bit of base, but the crisp quality far surpasses that of my Skull Candy Uprocks. The mic is quite impressive as well.
Summary: I am an online student that has a lot of ear plugs to listen to music and so on but this time I needed something with a ear plugs and microphone. I did not want to spend a lot of money and figure when I get some extra money I would buy another headset. Well, was I surprise when I used my SteelSeries Headset. It block outside noise and other students in my class can hear me very clearly. I was so happy I thought to get me another pair just to have as a spare set.
Pros: Sound is good, MUCH better than previous headset. Mic picks up voice perfectly, in-line mic mute and volume control are perfect and analog (you don't have to worry about a button stopping working), keep other sounds out. Well built and compact.
Cons: Mic can be hard to pull out of its slot in earphone, but not worth docking an egg.
Summary: If your a gamer, techy dude that is looking for some afordable headsets, that really deliver. Get these badboys, ive been using it for vent, skype, overall gaming on steam and blizzard games, and they deliver great sound.
Summary: I purchased this headset for my husband. He needed a new one to help him with his gaming while playing with friends on World of Warcraft. My husband really likes this headset. The headset is comfy and the mic picks up his voice nicely. It stays in place and if he wants to move it out of the way, he can retract it. Also, he likes that he can control the volume and turn the mic on and off as well.
Summary: This gaming headset has decent sound quality and a crisp clear mic. My previous headset was so sensitive, it was picking up sounds from across the room and annoying my teammates. This set's mic is better balanced--my voice is clear and very little outside noise, like typing, my fan, etc, is picked up. Great deal, get one if you can!
Summary: I own the SteelSeries 3H headset (analog, not USB) and I am so happy with them. I bought this pair about 5 years ago, so perhaps design has changed, but I do not share in the complaints of a lot of these reviews. I'll go through some different factors for the product below. Sound Quality: Not amazing, but for $30 gaming headphones you should not expect a super-high quality sound.
Summary: These are great, they just doesn't fit the person I bought them for as a gift. I wish there were more details on how to make sure these would fit the peeps who have a larger than normal head size. I have listened to a few songs on these and it's great quality.
