Summary: I would definitely recommend this headset to anybody looking for something inexpensive but has decent durability and audio quality. I would say this is on par with headsets that cost 2-3 times more.
Pros: - Lightweight - Portable (folding ear pieces a definite plus) - Fair amount of bass - Retractable AND flexible mic - Not too expensive
Cons: Build quality. However, compared to the headsets I've used in the past, this is the only headset that hasn't been broken to the point of having dangling parts. The only blemish I have on this headset so far after months of using it it a crack right down the middle of the top brace (where the headset hinges when folding it up). If I could give this 4.5 eggs I would. Also, another minor thing is that although I don't have a huge head, I've already pulled the earpieces o...
Summary: The headset works well, nice sound quality and mic quality for the price. The downside is it can be a little tight on what I consider and average sized head. So may irritate the ears with prolonged usage.
Summary: Just need to be bigger. Never saw these in a store, didn't know they were this small. No major discomfort, just a little tight. The only thing keeping these from being 4 star. Next time I'll get a 4H series. Hopefully they're bigger. This is my first "gaming" headset. Others I've had were just whatever I can get my hands on. The bass and quality of sound make games that much more immersive. You won't hear anyone calling your name or anything for sure.
Summary: These are the best sounding headphones I've ever purchased (very clear bass!). I haven't had an opportunity to compare it with the best of the best as the most expensive headphones I've purchased prior to this was $90. But these sound fantastic with a definite improvement over other headphones I've owned (even my Sennheisers). I'm VERY satisfied with the sound.
Summary: I got these headphones a little while ago and wanted to use it awhile before reviewing it. The sound is great, the mic works really well and the top band fits snug and comfortable. My only complaint is the cushion for the ear part is a little small. I'm a girl and i don't have huge ears, but after a few hours they do start to hurt. I bought these headphones for my 7 year old and he complains that they too hurt his ears after awhile.
Nice sounding budget headset but not for extended use

Summary: In terms of sound quality this headset is a great deal. I'm no audio connoisseur, but for gaming this headset has a nice mid-range. Unfortunately, the headphones are just too small. So unless you have mini ears it's likely the SteelSeries 3H VR will become a little uncomfortable after an extended gaming session.
