Summary: I originally thought that this was a great headset, it's comfortable and has good quality sound. However, as other people have pointed out, it's not a very good build - the wires inside aren't very secure and so after a while they become loose - breaking the sound connection so that you can't hear anything.
Summary: Firstly, they are comfortable. That is about the only good thing about this fake "5.1 surround sound" headset. The mic is awful to get working. Windows decides every time to adjust the volumes on every boot-up,resulting in some cases to have to re-plug in everything and fiddle with the audio control panels. (This problem occurs to many Medusa users according to the Medusa headset website and forums and other tech forums). Now the "5.1 Surround". A gimmick as usual.
Summary: This headset was of decent quality, both in sound reproduction and recording. I found it to be uncomfortable after several hours of use as the speakers press against the head with a surprising amount of force and there is no meaningful way of adjusting the tightness; expanding the head band does nothing to help. In under a year, the left-speaker connection has come loose within the left ear-piece (based on some wiggling of the cable) and so that speaker no longer works.
Summary: I was very happy with this product initially. It was comfy, and the sound quality was good. However barely 3 months later the mic is broken. This is not good enough from a £20 pair of headphones. Avoid these, go find a better pair, one that will last more than 3 paltry months. UPDATE: Amazon has been very helpful, and is replacing the headphones with no problem. 5 stars for service!
Summary: Had these a while now (bought for as a present) and I have to say I am not impressed with them. At first glance they are nicely presented, in an easy to open and remove box. They feel nice in the hands for the first time, look great and seem high quality. Putting them on for the first time they seemed a little weighty being 5.1 ok fine I can't complain too much there.
Good headset. Minor issue. (Now broken 15/04/2013)

Summary: Headset is great. Bass is good. Left and right front channels WERE good. Surround is good. The headband is good, the ear cups are large enough and comfortable. The USB cord is massive which is great. The audio control input on the cord is pretty decent and the mic is great. I've had Speedlink Medusa NX headsets before and as always quality is top notch for the price but sadly, I've only had the unit 2 months and on this one, when you max the volume on the Front channels...
Summary: I bought this headset one year ago (might have been a little longer). I regret it now. When I first got this headset it was perfect, great sound, well tuned surround system etc. However, little did I realise what was around the corner, was this headset showing its true colours. Pros: (After one year of use.) - Very comfortable to where, and excellent adjustability for all head sizes. - Adjustable microphone position. - Foldable and portable.
