Summary: I really appreciate the quality it brings as well. I have been using it around the house and in the car and have had no problems with any noise interference. I actually don't even use the noise canceling most times because I don't see the need for it. The headphones alone does a good job keeping exterior noises out. However, I like the option of having noise canceling in situations such as airplanes or busier environments. Overall, the SL300s are great.
Summary: These headphones have good sound. No technical issues. Great noise cancellation -- can never hear any one calling me when they want me to do something :) good spectrum -- treble to bass. no need for the bass enhancer.. .it is fine without it. listen at low and high volumes and all is ok. use with music, video and games. comfortable fit -- don't even feel them.
Summary: This is a great headphone hands down no question great sound, good noise cancellation, and good looks this headphone is very comfortable especially with the cushion on the top which I really like BUT the major problem with this headphone is that it has a serious sound leakage problem with the noise cancellation button turned on (or not actually) it's like your playing your music on a speaker it's that loud you can't really listen to music in the library or anywhere quiet...
SOUL - KLIPSCH - or BOSE?? Searching, don't own these but this is what I've found looking for ANC
doppelganger "dvd-archive", Amazon
15 February 2012
Summary: My goal was a pair for airplane rides, noise cancelling and movies mostly, with the occasinal jammout to high volume tunes. I keep a different pair for audiophile moments, non ANC (Beyerdynamics Tesla5 -$1300). I would pay anything to get a quality ANC can, but no one is making really high-end ANC headphone ($500+). So here's what I found in my search and what I am going to finally decide. .............. BOSE ($450?
Summary: I bought these Headphones a couple of days ago and I LOVE them. The Highs, Mids, and Lows were nice. The Bass was not punching, but it was decent enough to satisfy, If you are someone who wants PUNCHING bass, I would not really recommend this product. Also, these headphones leak sound like crazy. If you put the volume on at 50% and take off these headphones, then you will feel as if these headphones are speakers.
Summary: The souls sl300 have a great look and design with the padded headband and black and white color combo. Most importantly they sound crisp with any genre and in my opinion sound better than the Beats by Dre along with everyone else who has tried mine on. They deliver a nice bass but also great vocals. The only downside is the noise cancellation. I feel the Beats have better noise cancelation. I still hear random things unless the volume is all the way turned up.
Summary: I'm currently touring Afghanistan with the 101st airborne division.(not that that's relevant) I bought these headphones mainly to support Ludacris. (yes I am a dedicated fan) I love the way my black and white sl300's look. They are soooo comfortable to wear. I could easily wear them for 12 Hours straight. Im no audiophile, so to me, the sound is pretty darn good.
Summary: Overall, I was pleased with these headphones. I've never owned a pair of noise cancelling headphones, so I'm a little handicapped with regard to having something to compare against, but here are my reactions. I don't know if there's anything to the break-in argument or not. I've had these for about three months, I use them daily to listen to music of all kinds as well as the spoken word. I guess a total of about 80 to 120 hours of use all told.
Summary: Up front, I was given these headphones and cannot picture myself ever spending $300 on headphones. This having been said; they are amazing. I had to break my teenage son's fingers to get them back when I let him try them on. OK, this is a slight exaggeration, he did appear to have a religious experience though. The sound quality is magnificent, and the noise cancellation is excellent.
Summary: I feel that I did rather exhaustive research on headphones, searching high and low for reviews and particular features. While I have a complete bias against all things BOSE (I believe every product of theirs is complete hype and overpriced), I did include them in my search as well. I wanted excellent sound quality, noise cancelling, comfort, portability and ideally blue tooth but gave up on that. For the price, these are the best.
