Totally pants

Dr. S. Patel "United4ever", Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: Bought these some time ago, left them on for 12 hours to run them in and then used them regularly for several months to avoid jumping in and writing an overhasty review. Out of the box my first impressions were not promising. Muddy bass, so so mid range and poor treble. I use Pink Floyd re-masters to trial my kit and these IEMs fall way short.

you would not know these cost upwards of £100

Dan "berrygain", Amazon
2 June 2014
  • Summary: I had my pair for 2 days right from the offset i did not like the sound they produced. These are advertised for there bass however i found this to be non existent on any platform listened too. They also were very quiet even on maximum which i found very odd considering the price bracket. The final reason i sent them back was due to voices not sounding clear but sounding very machine like. Also apart from having little bass, everything sounded very tinny.

Great sound, poor durability

Ferox VII, Amazon
17 May 2014
  • Summary: Great sound quality, plenty of accessories. Headphones stopped working after 4 months even though they were well looked after, considering the price paid for them they really weren't worth it.

Disappointing, but logical

Mr. C. Salgado "CS-UK", Amazon
9 September 2013
  • Summary: When I saw the response curves on these, going down to 4Hz I was quite excited with it's claim of a dedicated woofer, but Bass performance was really disappointing compared to single 13.5 neodymium driver headphones. But thinking about it, it does make sense... I mean how much volume of air can XBA drivers push, considering their tiny surface area?

Almost no bass at all, very shrill treble

Enchirion, Amazon
11 February 2013
  • Summary: For a product aiming at extra bass this falls very short. On unpackaging there was virtually no bass at all, but after about 50 hours of play it has warmed up a bit. I've never had to adjust the EQ before with any headphones (Rockbox latest version with only stereo width and crossfeed tweaked) but to make these sound bearable I need to set +5dB to bass and -4dB to treble, otherwise the bassline in rock/metal/dance music is nearly inaudible.

Miskoop

TheBurner, Bol
5 January 2013
