Review of Sony SBH 20 Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset
14 July 2013
Conclusion: I like the Sony SBH 20 wireless Bluetooth headset, it’s well made, decent sounding and has multiple uses really. The main unit is small and lightweight making it very, and it has a nice sturdy clip so it will stay where you put it. Yes it’s not perfect, the design could be better, specifically the buttons, they are virtually impossible to see and you can’t feel their locations easily if you need to.
Pros: Headphones are decent sounding, Very small, lightweight and portable, Charges over standard microUSB, Can be used as a Bluetooth audio streamer to speakers or stereo etc, Simple to use, NFC built-in for easy pairing
Cons: Buttons are hard to see, Can’t feel buttons really to differentiate, Headphone cord a bit short
Conclusion: The SBH20 does a lot more than most other stereo Bluetooth headsets, and in most instances Sony hasn't piled on features at the expense of quality. With better noise cancellation and less finicky controls, the SBH20 would be our top dog budget-priced stereo Bluetooth headset of choice. As it stands, the SBH20 is still a very good choice for many buyers.
Pros: Good sound quality with bundled earbuds, Flexible design, Can connect to speakers via a 3.5mm jack
Cons: Can't trigger voice dialling on headset, Dismal noise cancellation, Buttons are difficult to press
