Summary: first, difficult to understand the differant variety of function lights didnt know if it was on or off or working, ear clip is to big and doesnt fit securly, the ear piece speaker thing is to big they should have differant sizes like headphones come with three or so differant size ear plugs. have to press it to my ear to hear other people so cant play and talk cause have to hold the controller and the earpiece. will be returning it.
Summary: Works great with my PS3, can also be used with Cell Phones. Could be more comfortable, and have more new features. Main reason I picked this up was for the desktop mode (which my original PS3 mic would not do). It's nice to be able to still talk to friends online even when it is dying and needs to charge.
Pros: Desktop Mode, Sound Quality, Works great.
Cons: Not the most comfortable, Not a lot of new features from the original PS3 headset.
Summary: It works great. However, I'm looking for a replacement that wont hurt every time I use it.
Pros: Connects to the PS3 flawlessly Sound is top notch and clear
Cons: Only comes with one ear hook and it seems to have been fit for a giant. This causes it to fit horribly loose. Extreamly uncomfortable to wear with a hard plastic ear bud. Really needs a silicone bud.
Pros: It has great reception and sound quality. I don't use it ALL the time but it's battery life is more than adequate for me (I use it only when playing online and cleaning/doing something needing 2 hands). Got it for $17 with promotional coupon from Newegg.
Cons: Could use a better ear clip. It hangs a bit loose and off to the side. Doesn't affect use nor comfort, but if I had to pick a con...
Summary: The main reason I got this headset was for use with my PS3. As soon as I power it on it connects and directs voices to my ear instead of through my main speakers. The voices come through relatively warm. Max volume exceeds how loud I prefer it but is easily adjustable. Mute button is super easy to use by feel. I'd prefer a more squishy button vs the firm click that seems to transfer into my head but whatever.
Pros: Tiny, comfy even after several hours, looks awesome, charges using my PS3's mini-USB cable. The little stand it comes with allows it to work as a mic while charging. Other gamers say they can hear me very clearly. My favorite feature may be that if it becomes unsynced (rare) resyncing is as easy as plugging it into the mini-USB.
Cons: I wish it were a little cheaper but it's worth the money.
