  • Summary: I bought these to replace the exact ones I had which suddenly stopped working on one side. Hope these hold up a little longer. I like the inline volume control and I found it hard to find any others that offered that feature without a bunch of other stuff I didn't want or need.

  • Summary: My husband loves these ear buds. They're comfortable for him, and produce a nice sound. He uses them about an hour daily, falling asleep for his morning nap with them in his ears as he listens to music in his recliner, a nap caused by medication he takes. I'm delighted that he is so happy with them!

Amazing

Edward G., Newegg
2 January 2014
  • Summary: Ultimately this is an excellent pair of earbuds regardless of price. If you are considering the price then these are an absolute steal.
  • Pros: These are the most durable earbuds I've ever owned. I worked in the food service business for a couple years until recently, and I wore these all the time while working. I also wore them at my other job, so there was a lot of moving them around, always in my pockets. Sometimes I would come home e...
  • Cons: I find sometimes that the length of the wire is just a couple inches too short, where they will pull out of my ears slightly but not get completely yanked out. The volume controller takes some getting used to, as it is very sensitive and peculiar. The bottom half of the range sounds virtually ide...

Great price & sound, not terribly durable.

Ashley P., Newegg
22 February 2013
  • Pros: Great sound, in-line volume is great during workouts, really good price for the quality.
  • Cons: Durability. This is the third pair I've had. I keep buying them because I do really like them BUT there is always a weak spot in the cord wiring. It's either right near the plug or at the right earbud. Sony's warranty is short so you just end up buying another pair. The last pair I had lasted aro...

Best earbuds I've ever purchased.

Jesse T., Newegg
23 November 2012
  • Summary: Great bargain, decent warranty, Sony quality. I would buy them again.
  • Pros: 1. Great build quality 2. Good audio range. 3. Beefy Bass 4. Cord length is optimal for exercising. 5. Very snug fit, they never fall out of my ears. 6. Multiple ear cups, 3 different sizes.
  • Cons: 1. Packaging is awkward. 2. Bass might be a bit too beefy for some music. 3. Personally, after a while the snug fit can can cause inner ear fatigue.

Very nice earbuds - Sound great!

Joseph N., Newegg
7 September 2012
  • Summary: If you are into earbuds instead of headphones these are excellent. Buy these and give them a shot before you go pay a stupid amount for Beats or something that sounds worse. I normally use big old school nice headphones with 53mm drivers. These little guys amazed me.
  • Pros: Sounds great. 7k-23k or so frequency response. It came with s/m/l sizes of ear things. The volume control seems to be of better design than most. They are very comfortable. The cord is long enough, maybe too long, but is a very flexible silicon stuff that might last a while.
  • Cons: None. I haven't checked the price of replacement ear pieces yet though.

No Complaints

Anthony I., Newegg

  • Pros: The sound you get for the price is worth it. No issues with the build quality.
  • Cons: The bass is good but can drown out the music at times.
