  • Summary: I really like these Sony style headphones. I'm glad this came with the product I also ordered. It was a great deal. Everything is good including convenience and sound quality.
  • Pros: Great Sound Quality Nice Bass Output Flat Tangle Free Cord Nice Black and Red Color Top Band is Made of Soft Leather-Like Material Comfortable to Put on Ear Surroundings are Made of Soft Leather-Like Material Adjustable Length For Bigger Heads Light Product and Easy to Store in Backpacks and Such
  • Cons: Wraps a Little Too Tight Around the Ears and Pushes Hard Into Head [But This is Best if User Wants to Hear Clear Quality Sound] Size of Ear Phones Are For Only Small to Average Ears Wouldn't Recommend This For People With Bigger Than Average Ears

  • Excerpt: I use these headphones mainly for editing on FCP7. There is little ambient noise when in use and the design is both comfortable and sleek. Nothing bad to say about it yet!

User Review

Triquatra, head-fi.org
9 September 2013
  • Summary: I bought these after popping into our local PC world and testing out all the headphones they had there. I was actually on a budget at the time and wanted to get as crystal clear sound as I could (none of that hyped up bass and brand nonsense) for a low price (£34).
  • Pros: Good sound at a low price
  • Cons: very short audio cable if you're looking to DJ

Way More Than Expected.

Keith, Target
3 August 2013
  • Summary: Alright, to begin, I'm an audiophile. I recently became obsessed with quality recordings and such. I liked Skullcandy, for some reason, but decided to give Sony a try. I started with the MDRZX300IP/B's. They were alright, but I wanted to upgrade to ensure a good sound. [...

Good Price/Performance

Gregory O., Newegg
3 July 2013
  • Summary: Actually prefer these to my Tiamat 7.1's....half the price too, oh well
  • Pros: Good mids/highs for an $80 set of cans Bass is lacking, but once they burn in they become a little more deep More natural sounding than many others I've tried
  • Cons: Cord is too short Should have been a single outlet instead of dual on each ear cup

Super, Supra-aural!

Julian K., Newegg
15 January 2013
  • Summary: I received these as a gift from my lovely girlfriend back in October of 2012. Its a good, reliable name brand that myself and many others have come trust over the years.
  • Pros: Quality feel (ridged, not flimsy), lightweight, flat cord, exceptional finish (not a fingerprint trap), relatively comfortable (except after 3 or 4 hours of use), and premium sound (no popping or hissing).
  • Cons: The cord is to short, and after 3 to 4 hours of use the tops of my ears get a little sore, but that's expected with any "over the ear" headphone.
