Pros: These sound great and are relatively comfortable. I'm not an audiophile but I'm picky and these pass the test. I listen to a lot of house/electronica at work but more celtic/folk/classical at home, so I hear a variety of sounds and these don't sound muddy or weak no matter what I play through them.
Cons: Cable is very short - I know the page says it's 47" long but mine sure isn't. It's about 30" long, which is not long enough for anything but use with a portable media player. Maybe I was shipped a different set from what is being advertised here?
Summary: Purchased these for listening to music and podcasts at work. They sound decent, though not great. I really miss the volume control of my old MDR-V150. Also the plastic band that expands for varying head sizes is cheap and flimsy. Overall a good pair of headphones for the price, but I find myself likely to return them for a more expensive pair just for a little better sound quality.
Summary: I enjoy my headphones. They fit snugly and have good bass and clear sound. The only issue I have is the microphone doesn't pick up my voice very well. They are pretty sturdy and fold into a manageable size. The short cord has limited my ability to use the headphones for some calls on my office phone.
Pros: The sound quality was very good and had good bass
Cons: The microphone didn't work very well, and it would be good if the cord was longer.
Summary: for price, these could be ok. but i think there are more enjoyable ones in this price. why buy cans in low price? good cans would be £35 at least. get iems and enjoy.
had them for 2 days, returned them.
the sound is balanced, except the bass, they're lacking.
the sound isn't warm, it's bright and annoying, so not nice to listen to.
but does sound realistic.
update: hd201 is better choice at this price.
Pros: price, looks nice, natural sound (not balanced since no bass).
Cons: too bright, hurts ears, poor isolation, leakage of sound, NO BASS.
Summary: I intend for this review to be legit and hopefully a good guide for somebody wanting to purchase this product. I have had these headphones for literally two months. I have used them nearly everyday since I bought them. They have been through rain, sweat and a few drops down the stairs. They survived through the worst in the last two months but alas the left speaker has blown and basically sounds like a wet fart now when played on a 3/4 of the volume.
Cheap & cheerful - reasonable sound quality but they do nothing to block out the background sound

Summary: The title says it all. For the price these offer reasonable good noise quality and I don't think you would find much better for the price. However, I didn't find them to be a great fit and because of this there was absolutely no difference in the level of background noise. I kept these but will definitely be investing in a more expensive pair soon.
