  • Summary: Here's the pro's: The sound the Sony MDRXB700's produce is far better than all the others I've tried. The oversize ear pads are very comfortable. These headphones produce incredible bass and there's no repositioning or holding them tighter against your head required, in fact the sound remains the same without touching the headphones. These delivering warm, solid bass and very well defined high's and mid's. The sound quality is unbeatable and so is the price.

  • Summary: The sound is amazing and they are very comfortable. Would buy them again. The cord is about 2 feet short for me (it's only about 4 ft long) but I use an in-line volume control that adds about 4 feet and that makes them perfect. Sony has this major problem with putting an in-line volume control on the cord of practically all their headphones. Sony also has a major problem putting a headphone jack on ANY of their TV's. That is why I bought a Panasonic this time.

WOW just WOW!

  • Summary: Finally got my hands on the Sony MDR-XB700. 1st impression that goes into my mind, the design of the headphone. I like to call it 'rubber tyres headphone' due to the design is much like a pair of tyres that you're wearing on (bulky but at the end, you'll get used to it). In term of sound and bass quality, they are GREAT on these headphone. Built quality is very durable. So overall..... recommended.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
  • Cons: Cord Too Short, Unattractive Design

Good set of cans for the price!

  • Summary: There have some complaints about the length of the cord. I find it appropriate length for when i have my mp3 player on my belt or when working at my desk. So far, i have used it for about 23 hours. The sound is good and as the cans get more broken in, I expect the sound to get richer. I have tried using a headphone amp which definitely helps to power to deep bass. So far, no complaints.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Cord is the right length, Good sound, Good Value
