  • Summary: If you’re looking for headphones to be used with the iPod I wouldn’t recommend these but if you’re looking for headphones that can reproduce low bass really well I would.
  • Pros: Very Loud, Exilent Bass Reproduction, High Quality and Built Well, Very Comfortable
  • Cons: Midrange is not amazing, Not That Compact, The Sound Leakage Is Pretty Bad

Comfort and good sound

DARYL C., Newegg
10 June 2012
  • Summary: Bought these originally for my wife for music recording. The isolation is good, and the sound is excellent for the money. They're so nice I bought a set for myself. I can wear them for hours, even with my glasses, due to the deep cushions.
  • Pros: Comfortable - even with glasses, good sound, excellent value
  • Cons: no mounting for a microphone boom, no volume control

User Review

Slawomir G., Newegg
20 March 2012
  • Summary: I rated it 4 eggs only because of the short cord, other than that these headphones proved to me that it's really not worth to spend $200-$400 on some other brands with very similar sound quality.
  • Pros: The bass, and to say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. These things tickle my ear drums. I'm afraid to turn the volume up too high ;)
  • Cons: The cord. I like the flat sleek design of it, however it should have been at least 2 feet longer, that way i could lean back and relax in my chair comfortably. They do leak a bit if you turn it up and if you've got people in your room trying to sleep then it might bother them.

Simply amazing.

James B., Newegg

  • Summary: I did not purchase these from Newegg. Had I known they were available on Newegg I would have purchased them here and saved about $30-50 depending on sale prices and such.
  • Pros: The bass on these headphones is amazing. Going along the lines of the other reviewers, these make the Beats by Dre look like a jar of mayonnaise. The overall quality cannot be beat. Price to performance ratio compared to other brands is unbeatable. They're also the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. It's like wearing marshmallows filled with clouds on your ears. I use these for music as well as games (BF3, Skyrim, etc.) and I have used them for 3 hours str...

Great bass and value

JPEEZY, Staples
12 January 2012
  • Excerpt: Hands down much better sound and bass than the highly priced Beats headphones. The large ear muffs make wearing them comfortable. They are however not the most sleek and fashionable headphones. They are bulky.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to Use, Efficient

Best bang for the buck

Anonymous, Newegg
25 December 2011
  • Summary: Was originally hoping to get some Beats headphones but these beat my expectations for the price. I know Best Buy has a display setup in most stores where you can plug in your own music device to try them out and I would definitely recommend trying that also.
  • Pros: The sound and comfort of these headphones is the best available in the price range. The large (and I mean large) over the ear cushions act as a noise canceler and even without music it blocks most outside noise letting you enjoy just your music and movies. The bass is also out of this world!
  • Cons: I have noticed a type of "cabin" pressure the large cushions create when wearing them for a longer period but that never gets too bad. Other than that I can't really come up with anything negative.
