Summary: i have had these headphones for a couple weeks now and i have to say best headphones i ever owned. people say u need and equalizer but mine were fine right out the box. Another problem people say they have is with leakage, I had almost no problems because if your sitting in a very quiet place u barely hear the leakage and if there is even the slightest conversation then u cant hear leakage. for the 50$ well worth it but idk about new.
Summary: I ordered the refurbished headphones and they came in perfect condition. They were refurbished by sony and came with case and warranty. They have great bass and all around sound quality. Very large ear cushion and can look weird on some people. I got them for 35$ free shipping and for that price they cannot be beat.
Summary: I did quite a bit of research on these before I bought a set, and I believe I made the right choice. To begin I checked out a set of Aviators but I could not bring myself to pay $150. Yeah they make look better and sound a bit crisper, but this set of Sony headphones are almost as good. Luckily for me a local retailer had headphones out to sample, so I checked them out. I was blown away the first second I put them on!
Summary: these are great! talk about bang for your buck!!! I've trie the dre. beats...... these leak less sound than the beats they have a very deep bass but its not overpowering. it all depends on the type of music you listen to. for hip-hop tracks, hands down awesome. The bass can make your ears vibrate, no joke!. for rock tracks the kick is there as well having a wide range for sounds. these are great for anybody and whatever music.
Summary: To start off, I will say I'm not an expert on the subject of sound and I haven't owned any great headphones in the past. After reading many reviews on various products, I thought that these headphones would be a great start as far as headphones go. Nearly all of the reviews had positive things to say about these headphones, and I do too.
Nice overall as long as Bass is your only concern.

Summary: First, don't even consider these unless you will be using them with a device that allows you to adjust the EQ. Out of the box they do indeed deliver a lot of Bass but at the expense of everything else. The mids are terribly recessed and the lack of treble results in a nonexistent soundstage. That said with some EQ tweaking these sound a bit better.
Summary: I have bought 3 pair of Frogz headphones and they broke quickly. My son picked these out and loves them!! What a blessing to find some headphones for him that actually works! They are lightweight and very comfortable!
Summary: I've been a basshead for a few years and have always listened to music pretty loud. I recently moved into an apartment and can no longer play my stereo loud so I decided to look for headphones for when I'm not in the car, which has been the only place I can still enjoy a loud stereo. After a few hours of researching I bought the Audio Technica ATH-M50s from Amazon. According to the reviews they have excellent sound quality and amazing bass.
Summary: Being a child of the 60s and 70s, I'm no stranger to headphones. First, a teeny tiny downside: others here have stated that they'd like to see an EQ. And, okay, the treble side is lacking in a VERY slight sort of way. (btw, are you using the EQ on your iPod? Even the nano has one) On the plus side - or pluses - The bass in this set of cans kick butt! And these phones are without a doubt the best fitting, most comfortable full-size headphones I've had or used.
Summary: This headphone has an amazing sound quality, I am pretty sure it's better than the Beats by Dr. Dre. I have tried both headphones the Beats has a lot more noise canceling than the Sony, but yet the Sony has better quality and better bass, but has less noise canceling. Don't go ahead and buy a beats just because it looks better and more popular. It's aroun $200 to $300 when you can get these for only 50 bucks plus they have better quality! Just think people!
