Sound quality great, lacks in comfort

Tyrrell Keim, Amazon
15 August 2014
  • Summary: As far as sound quality goes, they are right up there with any other high end pair of headphones. But when it comes to how comfortable they are, they extremely lack. I bought these headphones mainly for listening to music for hours at a time while I do my schoolwork, but these headphones always end up hurting my ears after im finished with them.

  • Summary: I'm sorry to say I have to return these. The sound quality is great no complaints there. The problem I have with these is they really hurt my ears wearing them for more than an hr. at a time. I purchased them to use watching tv programs on my PC, but unfortunately they are not comfortable to wear for this purpose. But love the look and sound quality.

Great for sound performance but lacking in comfort.

  • Summary: I did not wants Beats by Dre when going into my headphone purchase. I was looking for a few things (bass without losing it's balance, stylish look while on the head, comfort) and I can say that these headphones were ok but...not great. Pros -Stylish. Simply put they are some of the best looking headphones on the market. It seems like Sony did a great job with the tiny accents on these headphones down to the red wire. I personally like the look of these better than Beats.

Sounds great but can't relax!

  • Excerpt: I use these headphones for professional video editing. PROS: The sound range is top-notch for the price point. To get better audio you'd have to spend about double what you will spend on these. Folding cups increase portability for when I need to double-check audio in the field. CONS: The cable is laughably short. I can't even lean back in my chair without dragging my laptop across my desk.
  • Pros: Compact Design, Great Sound Quality
  • Cons: Difficult To Use

Great sound, very uncomfortable

  • Summary: I have been eyeing these bad boys for awhile, my friend has a very similar model. After using his a few times, I decided to splurge and buy a pair of my own. I got the white ones and the look is clean. I think they're stylish, but more importantly I LOVE the sound quality. I also haven't had any problems with any creaking (yet - I've had them for just a couple of days).

  • Excerpt: Comfortable fit, good sound quality but for use when professionally DJing the cord is simply too short to get around most booths comfortably and unfortunately you cannot replace or lengthen it

Good sound, but a bit uncomfortable.

JMA, Amazon
8 January 2015
  • Summary: I really wanted to like these, as they sounded decent, but they were just a little too uncomfortable for me. The top band has zero padding, which is probably more of an issue for me as I have a shaved head. If you have a luscious mop, that Sideshow Bob would be envious of, then you may not have this problem. Anyway, due to the fitting reasons, I am returning these. As they sound great, but that's no good if they are not comfy.
