  • Summary: I was debating on beats solo or monster headphones found the sony on sale and got them,I was amazed by how good the sound was when try them for the first time good bass but not overpower I try the beats solo at best buy and I'm not afraid to say that the sound on the sony is better than the beats great deal since I choosed the free pick up in store I would definitely recomend the sony to someone trying to get a good pair of headphones and not wanting to spend a fortune

All Around Great

  • Excerpt: These replaced their predecessor the Sony MDR-V700DJ. The sound is impressive to say the least, you hear all the small details in your music. These headphones produce a great range of sounds. Your mids and highs are Crystal clear. The bass won't overwhelm you, but it's not missing. It reminds me of the type of bass you would get from a pair of 8 or 10 inch woofers, you get clean tight responsive bass. These ain't 12's. But for the price you can't argue with them.

  • Summary: My Beats Solos started to have static for the second time in two years so I wanted to purchase an inexpensive new pair of headphones that still had good quality. I read numerous good reviews and decided on these. I was still very surprised and pleased with their sound quality and build. The bass is strong and all of my songs sound very clear, sounding better than they ever did with my Beats.

Remarkable for the Price

  • Excerpt: Great sound for the price. While the cushions aren't the 'fullest', they are comfortable on the ears (I should note a mild discomfort when taking the headphones OFF, but I never notice this whilst wearing them). They are lightweight and compact, good for the hikes and city walks that I like to do.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
  • Cons: Cord Is Not Detachable, Thin Lengthy Cord

It's AMAZING. Greatest bargain ever.

  • Excerpt: I just bought them. It came within 3 days! So fast. Anyways, I bought these to replace old EarPods and looking for quality. I was actually considering of buying some beats solo 2 or a Bose headphones. But, this thing can stand up to them. It is much more comfortable then the beats solo. The bass is deep, the trebles are high. Amazing. Fold together so it's compact. I placed them in my back pack with no problem. Great price for it. Ear cups are very breathable.

  • Summary: Pros: Great price compared to other stores. Nice bass and overall sound quality. The fold inwards just like Beats by Dre headphones. Single cord that never tangles. Fit well & look nice with the black and red scheme going on. Cons: No carrying case provided. Ears get moist after awhile from constant use without wiping the ear muffs ever so often.

  • Summary: I'm sorry to say I have to return these. The sound quality is great no complaints there. The problem I have with these is they really hurt my ears wearing them for more than an hr. at a time. I purchased them to use watching tv programs on my PC, but unfortunately they are not comfortable to wear for this purpose. But love the look and sound quality.

Excellent DJ cans!!!

DJ Hardcore CLP, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I bought these to DJ with as a replacement for Beats Solos, which aren't DJing headphones. Initially I was going to purchase HDJ 500s or 1000s, but after pittin these again the 1500, I decided to go this route. Couldn't have made a better choice. I would seriously recommend these cans as they have very good, highs, lows, & mids & a great volume with little to no distortion!
