I just have been using the Sony MDF-RF810RK and it stops working after some time for unknown reasons. There has not been a long silence in the sound on the TV it is connected to. It starts with some white noise like buzz, and then nothing, just silence. After unplugging the sound plug it starts working fine again after a while, until the problem happens again. Anybody any similar experience?
I found out what the solution is. The transmitter station has a silence detection. If you do not put the volume of the feeding device on its maximum, the headphone 'thinks' there is no signal, and switches off. You must put the volume of the feeding device, i.e. the TV or the stereo or whatever, to its maximum, and adjust the volume to your ears with the volume control at the headphone itself.
yes i have the same problem. i go to the service center. they told me there is no problem, when they test the headphone. i have a wireless router in my room , i turn off, but the problem remain the same.
