Comfort and quality

Robert N., Newegg
30 December 2011
  • Summary: I can't even remember when I bought these things, I have been using them for that long. The foam covers are starting to disintegrate, and I can't find these in stores to replace them!
  • Pros: Excellent sound and looks great. Comfortable because they don't fall off your ears. Perfect for exercise, and for those who hate ear-buds.
  • Cons: The chord is a little long and can get tangled easily. Will not cancel/mask ambient or outside noises. But seriously, these aren't cans, they just fit over your ears. Intercahngable covers are a gimmick.

  • Summary: i am not buying another pair of these, the speakers in them fizzed out in a short amount of time, next headphone i am going to a higher tier brand.
  • Pros: Comfortable, looks nice, sound quality, price
  • Cons: after about 3 months the left phone starting making a buzzing noise on higher volumes, so, maybe my pair was lame i don't know, they didn't last nearly as long as i expected them to.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Robert R., Newegg
27 August 2011
  • Summary: I had a pair like this back in 2004 that I had purchased from a local retail store, they lasted up until this year when the material that goes around the wiring inside the cord finally fell apart.
  • Pros: -Ear peice rotates for comfort, perfect for extended use -Sound quality is high, handles high base and high volumes. -Ear peices are very high quality with thick/soft padding and dont muffle the sound at all.
  • Cons: Well honestly the only thing I dislike about these headphones is the cord, its been changed since the last pair I owned and is much much smaller/thinner and is alot more prone to tangling and twisting up. Its annoying but thats a really minor flaw to be honest.

Long Time User - Great Set

Andrew S., Newegg
30 June 2011
  • Summary: I have owned these headphones since 2008, and I am currently on my third pair. I wear these extensively and primarily when exercising. Walking, jogging, running, lifting, etc, they stay snug around my ear while also being very comfortable.
  • Pros: Great sound quality with good range. Very comfortable while staying snug on your ear, I have no problems wearing these while exercising. I experience little to no discomfort from these, even if I wear them for several hours. Blue or silver cap color options available.
  • Cons: Little ticky tack stuff, like the cord can be a bit long and occasionally gets tangled, but some might see the length this as a plus. The cord can be put into your pocket or ran through your shirt if necessary. I would prefer the headphones to be split from the central cord in a Y fashion, as opp...

Excellent

  • Pros: High quality build and sound, loud enough as well. Can't beat the price. Long, sturdy cord.
  • Cons: Not-for-everyone design, sometimes uncomfortable cord juggling.

Amazing headphone for a great price

Babak N., Newegg
25 January 2011
  • Summary: I wish I could find replacement padding.
  • Pros: Great sound quality, especially for the price. I've had these headphones for over 3 years now and the only issue I have is the padding started to wear recently.
  • Cons: Wires tangle pretty regularly...though nothing too bad.

Great Headset

Nicholas M., Newegg
24 November 2010
  • Summary: Bought these probably around 3-4 years ago from walmart and was extremely happy when I saw newegg still carried them.
  • Pros: They last forever, and work great. (Have a pair that have lasted so long the ear protectors practically deteriorated away and still work like new)
  • Cons: The way they sit on your ear takes some getting used to.

Fantastic Headphones on a Tight Budget

OverCoat M., Newegg
23 November 2010
  • Summary: I ride the bus everyday for a couple hours and constantly wrapped these things around whatever I was using them with and jammed them in my pocket. After about 2 years the rubber insulation started to become grimy and dirty, and is now literally shedding off the wire in large amounts, which is also...
  • Pros: After owning a pair of these for a couple years now, I gotta say they are the best pair of portable headphones I've used. Sure, for the studio I use AKGs but I picked this pair up for my Zune and DS Lite and they performed admirably under extreme pressure. The design is low-key and the sound is g...
  • Cons: The wire! UGH! If these things don't get wrapped around your device neatly, the wire knots and tangles like crazy! It's the price you have to pay, I suppose, but one bad session took me a full 15 minutes to untangle them. It only gets worse as the wire's outer rubber protection starts dissolving ...

Pretty good

Anonymous, Newegg
8 August 2010
  • Summary: I take off the removeable plastic pieces, much better for when you are exercising.
  • Pros: -Decent sound quality -Long cord is convenient -For not being sport headphones, they stay on decently while running
  • Cons: -Slips off your ears gradually -Tangle free cord isnt really tangle free. (It does help though)
