Excerpt: Ihave used a different kind of headphone available in the market, a noise canceling headphone to be specific. This is not just your typical headphone because from the word itself - “noise canceling” because it can cancel out a high percentage of ambient noise around you. It will look …
Summary: I purchased two of this heaphones for my college age children, who flew back in this Christmas break. Both were extremely happy with the quality of sounds and adequate level of noise canceling effects. I personally tested it.
Good value for money product if you don't spend more than $150 on them

Summary: I have extensively researched noise cancelling headphones and even though the Sony NC60's are not the best sound quality on the market, the sound quality is still very good. There comfort, design, noise cancelling specs, along with overall finish make them in my opinion the best value for money in...
Summary: Pros: Very good sound quality, not amazing, just very good. Noise cancelling is good, its like being in your own little world. (do not expect to hear nothing! that is not the case - and is not meant to be). Movies sound superb, better than the music in my opinion. Monitor button.
Summary: I second all that has already been said about the clarity, comfort and noise cancelling of these headphones. I also have found new levels of sound to appreciate in my collection, little things like fine elements of melody and percussion that bring the whole to a higher level.
Summary: The first thing is that the noise canceling is disappointing. I am a pilot where noise canceling headsets are common, and most seem to cut out more than these do. There is no danger that you would not hear someone talking to you unless you had music turned up loud.
Summary: These are great headphones and well worth the money. I haven't taken them on a plane as yet but the noise cancelling function is very good at cutting out the loud people in my office! The sound quality is very good and you get great bass, even when they are relatively quiet.
Don't fair well against other Noise Cancelling headsets, not for the audiophile!

Summary: I compare these to the Sennheiser PCX 300 which I owned previously to these. They don't fare well. Noise cancelling first (that's the justification for the price, right?). It doesn't live up to the other headphones I'd used.
Summary: Noise cancelling on these is pretty mediocre really, not a patch on that of the Bose Quiet Comfort range, but then they are a fraction of the price of the Bose so it would be unfair to expect the same performance.
Summary: It's unfortunately quite hard to judge audio products online because most reviews tend to account for value as well as quality. Hence there are plenty of cheap speakers and headphones with 5 star reviews.
