Summary: Very good noise cancelling with a nice unique design along with deep bass, however without the battery/noise cancelling the sound is totally different..... There are better choices but this would be good if You're looking for active noise cancelling at a good price.
Pros: Bass, Comfort, Noise Cancellation
Cons: Price, Some static noise, No battery no quality, Bass kind of distorts mids and highs
Summary: I bought these on a sale price match without being able to try them first. Very comfortable, good solid build, and good overall sound. There is good bass and sound stage. The noise canceling is pretty good. Cancels out most of any droning/humming background 'white' noise effectively. My only complaint is while it's convenient they work without batteries, the non-powered mode is substantially less impressive than the 'on' mode. At least you have the option.
Summary: I like almost everything about these headphones. The sound is great; the fit is comfortable; the look is thought out and stylish, they are very light; and $100 cheaper than the Bose QC 15. What has caused me to return these headphones only after 4 days is that when I have them powered on, I pick up radio stations (2 at the same time to be exact). If I move around the reception raises and falls in strength; the cable acts as an antenna.
Summary: Bought these after christmas and they are amazing! Sound is great, Noise-cancelling works great! I travel to work from the east coast to Fort McMurray so a great pair of headphone is important to me and their cheaper than the bose QC15. I love the fact you can still use it without the NC or when the battery dies. 1- AAA batterie so very convenient. Nice case that came with it. No complains at all!
Summary: Bought these at a great discount. Very comfortable. Can still use when battery is not installed. Noise cancellation works very well. Using them in an office setting and with light relaxation music playing in the background and noise cancellation on the noises of the office are much less bothersome. Sound quality is quite good. Would recommend.
Summary: I've been using noise cancelling headphones for over two years, mostly to cancel out aircraft noise. The Sony MDR10RNC is terrific and I'm really happy with the headphones. The build quality is really good, the fit is comfortable and it does an excellent job in blotting out aircraft noise and in providing you with a cocoon of peace and quiet.
Summary: Great performance in noisy environments (I tried them in a 8-hour bus trip and in a 5-hour flight) and excellent sound quality and deepness if you try them in a quiet place. Comfortable, functional, nice carrying case... Simply, a great choise to make!
