Summary: The earphones have good sound quality (Missing some treble), so you might have to tweak using the phone. This is not for sports, as the physical equalizer is always falling, and it becomes messy if you are using shirt and jacket. I would love this earset if it didn't have the equalizer. Price is ok, but i wouldn't pick the same pair again.
Summary: Only works with constant background noise, ie travelling by train or flying, not very good at cancelling road noise when travelling by car. I bought them for train travel and flying, they do a good job for both.
Summary: At first I gave these a 1-star rating because they didn't work, but it turned out to be my fault. I was using the smallest size 'soft bud', thinking that they should sit 'inside' the ear - in this configuration there was no noticeable noise cancelling effect at all. A friend advised me to try the larger 'bud' size and this actually solved the problem - now there was a noticeable noise cancellation and better bass response.
Summary: These headphones dull the noise slightly making it possible to not have to have my music so loud on the tube. I find they are not as good as the Sony earphones that worked directly from my Walkman. I got what I paid for - so for the price, not bad.
Summary: Mine seems to be a familiar story for these headphones. I originally bought them for an air flight to America but found that my other earphones (MDR-ED21LP groove earphones) did as good a job. I then put them aside until recently when I've been doing a lot of commuting by (noisy diesel) train and I've had mixed results. First the good points: 1. They are comfortable to wear 2. Their noise *isolating* properties are very good. The bad points: 1.
Summary: The sound quality is great, and the noise isolation works very well. I use them when playing along to songs on drums, they work great. There are some negative points about it too though. The left ear chord is a lot smaller than the right for some idiotic reason which can make using them very uncomfortable. IF they were the same length they would be amazing, but they are not.
Nice, comfortable earphones, but a pity that the noise-cancelling part doesn't work so great

Summary: I bought these earphones to replace my Sony noise-cancelling earphones that recently broke. (I bought my old ones about 3+ years ago and can no longer read the model number, so I can't say what they were). Initially I was very impressed by these earphones as they were very comfortable in your ear, the earphone rubber parts are clearly labelled small, medium and large and the earphones are clearly labelled left and right.
