Summary: Some of my friends had trouble putting them on.
Pros: The sound is great. I've owned two pairs of these, the first lasting over a year, where the right channel gave out. They don't fall out, ever. They are plenty loud. On my zune, I can hear the music perfectly clear at 1/20 volume if it's quiet, and at 10/20 I can't hear anything outside of the music.
Cons: My second pair just broke in the exact same fashion as the first pair after about 8 months to a year, in that the right ear gave out. Wiggling the wire would sometimes get it to work, but that has stopped working.
Pros: Well, they worked when I got them for our 16yr old daughter...
Cons: But died two months later with one ear piece going dead, shortly followed by another. Saw no visible damage to any of the wiring and she was unaware of having done anything to have damaged the ear buds.
Pros: durable, good sound for my use. Used when I'm doing yard work, chores around the house, and when exercising at the gym. tolerates all the sweating from ears and still works. this is my 3rd pair, last pair endured 2yrs of abuse.
Excerpt: These are good earphones for the price. But they are hard (at least for me) to put on. I have to slip them on and I sometimes put them in the wrong way. But once they're on, they're good to go. In terms of sound quality, they are comparable to other headphones at this price range. The main difference for me is whether you prefer to have ear buds or this kind of headphone. The stlyes is certainly distinct so I decided to give it a try.
Excerpt: This is my second pair of the Sony MDR-J10 style headphones. They work the best for me when I'm at the gym with my Ipod. No matter what I'm doing- running, lifting weights, etc..-they stay in place. They fit so comfortably around my ears that I can wear them for extended periods of time, like if I am cleaning house or gardening. They have a verticle in ear design for great sound quality and makes it so that others can't hear what you are playing. Also, when I'm at...
great pair of on-the-go headphones to replace annoying earbuds

Excerpt: I am one of the few that cannot get earbud headphones to stay in my ear...this is the greatest solution I've found. I'm also a runner, and these headphones guarantee that I will be able to go for a run without my headphones constantly jumbling out of my ears. These headphones conveniently go around the back of one's ear to stay attached while mimicking the style of earbud headphones.
Excerpt: I bought these headphones hoping that the ability to wrap them around my ears would help them stay. The actually ear pieces were causing me so much pain that I decided to give them away. Will never buy them again regardless of price/sound quality.
Excerpt: First thing to know about me is that I have a small head and small ears ! Over the past 20 or so years, I've purchased at least that many sets of headphones--cheap ones, expensive ones, over the ear, in the ear, around the ear and every other type imaginable. I have modified them with foam and electrical tape, so as not to fall off my little head. Many have been ripped to shreads, stomped on, or suffered some other sort of indignity at my hands.
