Excerpt: It's nice to finally find some headphones that are great for working out. Earbuds have never worked for me and just fall right out. These actually stay in, the cord doesn't get in my way, and the sound is absolutely amazing, especially for the price. Based on other reviews I expected them to be good but I didn't expect them to be this good. I'm beyond impressed! [$] well spent. Let's just hope they hold up after some heavy use.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: I absolutely love Sony’s MDR-J10 headphones. They fit around my ears perfectly, they’re comfortable for extensive use, and they don’t fall out real easy. I’ve come to love the hook design that these headphones use.
Excerpt: Very nice set of inexpensive yet high quality headphones. I bought them for wearing to the gym. They stay in place and you hardly know they're there. Sound quality is better than what I'd expect for the price. Very nice.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight
Excerpt: Bought this product to replace the ever-slipping-out iPhone headphones. What can I say - this one stays put! Comfortable when I'm on my bike, comfortable with a hat in the Chicago winter. Simple and useful, especially for this price. Sound quality is OK as well (not great), but I'm not complaining.
Summary: I took apart both pairs, and they look fine. I tested the speakers in the broken earbuds and they still work. I'm going to try to splice in some new wire leading to the earbud. Headphone wire in general is tiny, with little insulation between the ground and power/signal, so I wouldn't suggest doing this unless you are experienced with soldering and planning to through out the headphones.
Pros: The sound is great. I've owned two pairs of these, the first lasting over a year, where the right channel gave out. They don't fall out, ever. They are plenty loud. On my zune, I can hear the music perfectly clear at 1/20 volume if it's quiet, and at 10/20 I can't hear anything outside of the music.
Cons: My second pair just broke in the exact same fashion as the first pair after about 8 months to a year, in that the right ear gave out. Wiggling the wire would sometimes get it to work, but that has stopped working. Some of my friends had trouble putting them on. Cord is to short for me to use it on my desktop
