Excerpt: This is my first headphone in my life, so I can't compare it to other products. However, I can say this one has good enough sound quality especially for video games and movies. It is also comfortable and light-weighted.
A good bit of kit that does what is says on the tin

Summary: Bought this in October so thought I would wait a few months before reviewing so that I can test it properly. Good wifi range - I can continue listening to a programme 60+ feet away and through walls. Sound quality is very good indeed and is very involving. Great for late night listening at loud levels. Very easy to set up however you do need to read the manual carefully particularly if connecting your system through a AV amp.
I bought the Sony headphones to avoid annoying the neighbours for late night gaming and movies

Summary: These headphones are superb for watching movies and playing games. They go very loud, produce thudding bass and clear dialogue. I wouldn't use them for listening to music as they don't compare to my Denon AH-D7000's (which admittedly cost a lot more back in the day). However, I bought the Sony headphones to avoid annoying the neighbours for late night gaming and movies. They produce much better surround sound than conventional stereo headphones.
This is one of the best electronic items I have ever bought

Summary: This is one of the best electronic items I have ever bought... Comfort is excellent, battery life is awesome...If I watch tv or a film without them on it seems to be missing something.. I even use them to listen to music though they are not as good as my Sennheiser HD800 but the wireless freedom makes them very convenient!
Be warned....they will grow on you. Not like moss does but in a good way.

Summary: Ive connected these to a Sony TV and Blu Ray player and it took a little time for me to get used to the switching between them but ive began to like them a lot. When using the cinema mode for watching films (my main reason for buying them) the simulated surround sound is nothing short of spectacular. The balance between vocals and the background sounds is so spot on it surpases what I was able to achieve with my dedicated amp and 5.1 speaker system.
A great alternative to a full blown speaker system

Summary: If any home cinema enthusiast is really honest with themselves then they will agree that the only individuals out there that can truly enjoy a fully blown bone shaking home cinema system are those that live in detached houses where the closest neighbour is about a mile from them. It is absolutely impossible to use a home cinema system properly without upsetting the person on the other side of a common wall in a semi-detached or terraced dwelling.

Summary: Had mine imported from Japan with a second pair of headphones to sync. But I am lead to believe that the UK version can only connect one pair of headphones. If this is the case what else have they taken out of the UK model? I can connect up to 4 pairs of headphones to my imported model.
Can't deliver true surround but very good otherwise

Summary: Let me start this review by saying that I'm always on the hunt for a better surround experience from a pair of headphones. In the past I've had some gaming headphones with multiple drivers in each ear cup that didn't really work (but had great bass). I was intrigued when Sony announced these and couldn't wait to get my hands on them without having to import them from Japan.
