Summary: I cant believe someone finally got earphones correct. They dont have to be loud to be LOUD. The design of these knock even bose noise cancelling in the water. You put them in turn on the music at first you notice, these arent as loud as expected. Then the more you listen the more you realize Its not that they arent loud, its the music is so clear crisp clean and the only thing you hear. Never owned a pair better, My 200 bose pair are now in the junk drawer!
Summary: At the time I purchased this, I thought it was quite a bit of money for a set of headphones, and I usually went through headphones in 3-4 months. I went through with it, and I'm very happy that I did. Sure the ear cushions pop out, but that is to be expected, they really take quite a bit to knock them out. I had these headphones for over a year and they finally broke when I lost hearing in one of the headphones.
Summary: These are the best economy headphones I own. The inline control works great with my 120GB iPod classic. I work with machines all day and these are perfect for changing the volume or song so I can keep my iPod stored out of harm's way from being dinged up. I don't know why the other reviews complain about the long chord and it needing a clip - it has one and works great with these again so I don't snag the line on my machines.
Summary: When I got my iPhone4, I wanted to get headphones that people said were great and had volume control, so I got Apple's In-Ear headphones (MA850G/A). They did not have the sound quality of a cheap regular pair of Sony In-ear ones. Then I find that Sony makes a In-Ear with Mic+Volume control (MDREX38IP) and I bought it. It has the same wonderful sound as my other Sony's, but can control everything that Apple's can. It's half the price of Apple's too.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: I was initially happy with the sound quality and build of the buds, but discovered that the smallest amount of moisture causes the sound to go nuts and the remote to stop working. Avoid these if you are going to work out.
Summary: I was expecting quite a lot from these headphones, them being Sony and all. Unfortunately, Sony's name does not make these headphones anything but terrible. You have to shove these into your ears to hear anything, canceling out all sound, and making you feel like you're underwater. The cord is too long, the volume adjuster is obnoxious, and the changeable headphone "cushions" pop off too easily, causing you to lose them in the process of switching.
Summary: These are amazing. The sound they produce is very clear compared to the headphones that came with my iPhone. The only complaint is the microphone is on the left side which allows it to pick up more wind while driving with the windows open. The set that came with the iPhone have the microphone on the right side and never had a complaint the person on the other end could hear wind. But really this is situational at best and there are ways around it...
Summary: I use this to run with. The cord is way too long which is why there is a clip to extend or shorten it. After using my earphones with my ipod (2 months) the left side of the earphones do not work at all. The down side is that you have to insert these inside the ear to hear the bass. May look into the Shure brands or maybe Bose.
