Great value and cool design

  • Excerpt: I replaced my previous earphones for this set. I have to say that I am very pleased with my choice. I use them with my phone everyday and I didn't have any problems so far. The design is really good and Sony is a well known brand so I think reliability is expected. The sound is great. I always have a concern about earphones. Some earphones may not have a good shape.

  • Excerpt: I bought these little earphones recently after my samsung ones for my Galaxy S2 started playing up and with the hundreds of pairs on the market, these seemed to be getting good reviews and are good value for money. I paid just over £10 for mine but I have seen them go from anything from £5 to £30.
  • Pros: Comfortable, very little sound leakage, good value
  • Cons: sound quality not up with the more expensive brands .

Sony MDR-EX77LP Earphones

  • Excerpt: I picked these earphones up from my local Sainsbury's around three months ago now as I had forgotten to put my usual ones in my bag and had an appointment at the hospital which I knew would require a lot of waiting around. Music definitely helps pass the time in situations like that and so I made the decision to have a quick look to see if there were any cheapo earphones in Sainsbury's as it's a five minute walk away from the hospital.
  • Pros: Cheap, work, comfy, look quite nice
  • Cons: Don't cope well with emitting high volume audio

A great item if you have ears on the small side, a great fit!

  • Excerpt: In these modern days of carrying any number of devices with me, all of which contain selections of music, I tend to have a spare set of headphones in each bag I carry (work bag, casual bag and gym bag) so that whenever the need arises or the mood takes me I can pull them out and use them. As I have both an iPad and iPhone my only ask is that any such headphones fit these devices and as they seem to be a standard jack size this is usually easy enough to sort.

A great pair of earphones

  • Excerpt: I get through a copious amount of earphones mainly due to my clumsy self. If I'm not treading on them I'm dropping them in water or losing them. So usually I just go for the cheapest pair. So It was to my surprise when I received the Sony MDR-EX77LP as a gift. They appeared to be a higher end model than I'm used to and on recent inspection I saw them selling for £14 (I usually spend under a fiver).

Sony in ear phones

  • Excerpt: I really enjoy listening to my ipod, but the earphones that were supplied with it were woefully inadequate! A few months ago I decided it was time too buy a decent pair. I didn't want to spend too much and neither did I want an over the head pair. Browsing on Amazon I came across a decent looking Sony pair for around £15. As I am a fan of Sony products and the reviews were mainly positive, I decided to buy. The earphones in question are model number MDR-EX77LP.
