Summary: If the earbuds do pop out on you then super glue them in works good
Pros: Best headphone I have ever used and not as expensive as other ones i tried. With these sony fix the problem of the earbuds popping out when you take then off. Great sound. Wish i would have got them on new egg too bad
Summary: I first got a pair of these several years ago. Back then they were called "Sound Isolating" and they truly do. Several improvements have been made from the previous models... My only complaint with my old pair was the cord was kind of sticky (if it brushed against something you could feel pulling).
Pros: Great headphones. Sound great, look great. Maybe its just me, but I think the ear-plug style headphones do more than noise-canceling headphones. I am not going to try it with these, but my old pair went through the clothes washer and came out the same as they went in.
Cons: The right side died after 3 years or so (yeah, I know, BIG con...). They can get a little uncomfortable if worn for long periods of time (though honestly, no headphones are comfortable after wearing them for a long time...)
Summary: A lot of people seem to have an issue with the wire design. What I've found is that these are meant to be worn around the back of your neck, you put the left earbud in, and run the right earbud around the back of your head.
Pros: I've been doing live sound work for about 8 years, and I've found these to be perfect for anything, from plays and concerts to just chilling and listening to my ipod, the sound is incredibly detailed and the bass is strong, overall wonderful.
Pros: These are great headphones. The in ear design helps reduce noise. They sound far greater than the cheap Apple headphones. The headphones have great highs as well as great bass for such a tiny driver.
Cons: They are white. White gets dirty. After several hours of listening the headphones do start to irritate my ears. May not be like that for everyone.
Summary: The WIRE build quality on these are FAR SUPERIOR to the Soxny EX 51!!! These will not DETERIORATE as the EX 51 did.
Pros: I bought the original EX 70 back in 2001 and they were great back then. You're going to love these. They aren't going to sound as good as anything from Shxure or boxse but you're paying a quarter of the price for them. They will amaze you. Heck this time sony even threw in a decent protective cas...
Summary: The only time you really hear noises from the cord rubbing against your clothes etc is if your not listening to anything or have the sound on really low. Can hear yourself breathing while jogging but it's easy to tune that out.
Pros: Low cost, great sound. Have used mine for the last year and half daily at work and exercising. Having the extension is nice too. Without it, the headphone cord length is just right for armband usage, with the extension its long enough to use on a desktop computer without havin to worry about havi...
Cons: They don't cancel out surrounding noises very well.
