Summary: Basically this is the EX10 with some tuning (in this case, making it worse for more money).
It has the same grainy treble.
Sony added "rich bass", which is really the same mid-to-upper bass as that of the EX10, but here it's exaggerated, even more bloated and boomy, it bleeds into the mids and makes the whole sound more unbalanced and even unpleasant.
The housing is smaller and as a result harder to grasp when pushing into the ear canal.
Summary: I got these as a replacement for my no longer available 818's and I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed that Sony have discontinued a perfectly good product. These, despite their claims to a good bass, I found to be horribly tinny and lacking in depth, also the stupid ear buds that they insist in using now, keep becoming detached and getting lost.
Don't buy if you plan on moving, walking, dancing!

Summary: I needed new in-ear headphones and although I have a pair that was delivered with my phone I thought I'd buy myself a pair from a trusted brand. What a mistake! I use them when doing physical activity (working out, cleaning house) but the movement of the cords create a weird banging, feedback sound that's really irritating. My husband also complained that he could hear the music leaking and the music quality just didn't sound very good.
Summary: Really disappointed with these headphones. When I opened them I though they looked odd, turns out I had received a pair with two left ear buds. And if that was not bad enough - the sound quality is also rather poor.
Summary: I've had these 3 months and while they started off fine I am now very disappointed in my purchase. The right earphone is much quieter than the left. It also has a weak connection whenever the cable is touched which makes it impossible to listen to my music when walking anywhere with it cutting out all the time. I do not recommend these at all.
Summary: I ordered these because I like my music with a lot of bass. Dont bother with these if you're the same. The sound quality was terrible, way too tinny. It sounded like listening to someone else's headphones turned up loud.
