I'm kind of asking for help in here.
I had 5 pairs of earphones which of them the right piece was dead. First my original iPod earphones, I don't know but they (all right pieces only) all died within a span of 2 MONTHS!

I have been reading a lot of articles and had a theory that it might be my old netbook which is responsible for the murder of the right piece of my earphones. (I only use earphones for my iPod and my netbook)

I love the product, except that the wires are so thin that they are soooooo fragile. They should be handled with extra care.

I was amused by the sound quality, it's like I was hearing music again, for the first time!

But that didn't last long, 2 weeks came and the right piece died. Thanks to my netbook's headphone jack (theory).
So when the right piece died, I came back to the store where I got the earphones on to ask for a repair, but I was told that they don't do repairs and I have to go to a Sony Repair Center.
To be prepared, I called them first, then I was asked about my concern and I told them my product unit. Sadly, I was told that the MDR-EX50LP isn't repairable and that's why it only came with a 5-day warranty.

Enough said, I am never gonna buy this earphone again and next time, I'll look for thicker cords like SHURE's.
