Excerpt: I really liked these earbuds. The sound quality was supurb for the price and they were great at blocking out other noise on the train, etc. Unfortunately, the left bud stopped working on me for no reason. They weren't abused in any way and I haven't even had them 2 years. Very dissapointing, especially because I liked them so much before they broke.
Excerpt: I bought these headphones from a retail store for the specific use of using a good pair of headphones while editing videos. I keep them in a nice semi-hard protective case and keep them with my laptop. The sound quality is good and is worth the price. Only one VERY BIG Caveat. I had my first set for about a year when one of the earbud drivers quit working, leaving me with sound coming only from one ear.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Bass, Great Sound
Excerpt: I use these headphones mostly for running in the gym, and although the sound quality is pretty good for the price in my opinion, it's annoying that there's a background thumping from the cable hitting your chest....it completely ruined my running experience. Also the switch to pause/fast forward songs etc. is slightly bumpy and very inconvenient...definitely not as smooth and seamless as the apple headphones.
Summary: I'm using all kind of headphones for both professional work (musician) and for leisure (just walking around cities with the right soundscape). I've tried a lot of different headphones of every price class. I've bought them based on reviews and mostly for the ability to control the iPod Classic that I own. First the positive: remote for iPod Classic (7th gen) works as expected.
Summary: First thing the basic controls like volume and skip songs on the earphone control are compatible only with apple products like iPad/iPhone etc. And second, when used with my Andriod phone the sound is not that good, even high volume doesn't seems promising. (not sure how it sounds when used with apple product). And the volumn control doesnt work with andriod device, mic works fine along with song skip option. I would better have gone with other product from Creative.
Summary: I specifically buy inner ear headphones for 2 reasons: 1) The sound is usually much better than non-inner ear headphones 2) You can have them as loud as you like without disturbing people around you. Not with these ones. Yes the sound is good but I've had 2 complaints from fellow passengers since I bought them complaining about the sound. Today I got a colleague to put them in whilst I listened and the level of noise coming from them is shocking.
