Excerpt: I bought 2 - only bothered to open 1 since the microphone was really poor quality. I could hear fine, but everyone else told me I sounded like I was in a tin box. Planning to return them to Staples the first chance I get.
Excerpt: I bought these headphones three months ago, and they have a 90-day manufacturers warranty. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that one side of the headphones seemed a bit fainter than the other. Then today (6/13/13), literally TWO DAYS after the warranty expired, one of the earbuds stopped working entirely. This is a situation in which I believe Sony should honor the warranty, yet thus far they have been unwilling to do so.
Excerpt: You get what you paying for. Sound experience ok. Background noise from the cable and remote completely ruins the sound quality during phone calls, super annoying. The remote it is definitely not built as nice and smooth as the apple headphones. Plus I hate the L shaped plug, my fault on that. I should have read the specs.
Cons: Cheap look, Flimsy, L shaped jack, Poor Design
Excerpt: Much like a lot of reviewers on here, I noticed that after a couple of months of use, the volume and the mic just stopped working. The headphones still work, but that's not what I bought them for. I would imagine that spending any amount of money on a particular item that it would go without saying that they should be better made and for this, with a brand name like Sony, I am thoroughly disappointed that I'm out of $40 for this purchase.
Excerpt: Used 4 times. Worked fine the first two times. The third time used, the remote did not work properly. Volume would only go louder but would not decrease. The skip/pause function did not work either. Put it away for the time being, got it back out a few hours later and it worked as designed. Fourth use: there is no sound from the right ear bud. Got them back out today and still no sound from the right earbud. I think this was a total waste of my hard earned money.
