Excerpt: I was looking for an inexpensive pair of earbuds to listen to spoken word podcasts with and settled on these. My preferred phones, the Sony MDR-7506, are too bulky to travel about with. The MDR-EX38iP is small and obviously lightweight, so it fit the bill. The sound quality was not the greatest, however it was suitable for spoken word. Overall, these earbuds are a good value.
Excerpt: I really liked these earbuds. The sound quality was supurb for the price and they were great at blocking out other noise on the train, etc. Unfortunately, the left bud stopped working on me for no reason. They weren't abused in any way and I haven't even had them 2 years. Very dissapointing, especially because I liked them so much before they broke.
Excerpt: You get what you paying for. Sound experience ok. Background noise from the cable and remote completely ruins the sound quality during phone calls, super annoying. The remote it is definitely not built as nice and smooth as the apple headphones. Plus I hate the L shaped plug, my fault on that. I should have read the specs.
Cons: Cheap look, Flimsy, L shaped jack, Poor Design
Excerpt: Got these to replace my ipod apple earphones. They work great and seem to be a better quality then the apple ones that failed after less than a year. They do feel a bit big in my ears, even with the smallest earphone covers.
